Customers say: Quick response

"Our ivory carpets we're really dirty. After calling several carpet cleaning companies, I was most impressed with the owner/operator's description of his service, his use of enzymes, his understanding that we'd been using a home carpet cleaner for several years. He took pains to remove the residual product we'd inadvertently been leaving in the carpet each time we'd self-"cleaned". It took more than a day to dry, but we were still pleased with the job, which the owner did himself. Our carpets, microfiber sofa, loveseat, and fabric dining chairs never looked better, except when they were new."

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

To maintain a slate roof and prolong its lifespan, conduct regular inspections, ideally annually, or schedule professional inspections. Key maintenance includes cleaning gutters regularly, promptly replacing any broken or damaged tiles, and ensuring the flashing remains intact to prevent leaks. It is also recommended to remove overhanging tree branches and address minor issues as soon as they appear.

To prep for metal roof painting, have a roof inspection conducted to determine the condition. Complete any repairs required before you paint. Remove the old paint on your metal roof, if any, remove rust and mold with a wire brush, and power wash the surface. Once the roof is clean and dry, start with a primer get painting.

Clearing snow from your roof can be a tedious and time-consuming job. Even so, it is extremely important to maintain your roof during the winter months. You can help prevent ice dams and avoid roof collapse.

As a side note, rather than shoveling your roof, you should always use a roof rake to modify the job. Otherwise, call in a professional.

No, you should not pressure wash or power wash roof shingles, including asphalt shingles. The high water pressure from these machines is too strong and can damage the shingles by forcing water underneath, loosening their adhesive, and causing them to fall off. A safer and better alternative is soft washing with a pump sprayer. To ensure the job is done safely without causing damage, it is best to hire a local roof cleaner.

There are several ways to remove snow from your roof: using a snow rake, salting the roof with calcium chloride, using a rope (cautiously), and using heating cables. It’s important to mention that pretty, fluffy, sparkling snow weighs a great deal, and when physically removing snow from a roof, you should be aware of large snow slabs breaking off. These can weigh hundreds of pounds and are a real danger, so be extremely careful anytime you’re doing this type of work.
