"Michael came over to give us an estimate for painting an empty condo we had just purchased. We thought he may charge a little more than the coupon because there were 2 vaulted ceilings. Since we were having the popcorn removed beforehand, the ceilings would be finished and would not need painting. He explained that there would be 2/3 days of "prep work" included in his 40 hour estimate.

We thought this was excessive. All in all, he estimated $1,000 additional from the 40 hours we had purchased. We contacted him 3 days later, with a phone call after an email. At this point he wants us to pay $1,500 additional and advance him money for prep supplies, this just kept getting worse so we decided to opt out of the whole situation."

When I contacted him a few months later he stood by his original estimate. His crew completed the job in 2 days start to finish and the roof looks beautiful. He also was able to stop the leaks on the screened porch that we had had since it's installation 12 years ago. Overall a good experience.
