"Great! All projects requested (plus two additional requests) sone timely, neat and good workmanship."

"It turned out good. The only problem I had was they charged me for a service call. They made good on that and refunded me. I felt the end price was fair."

"They were satisfactory. We had to call them back because something wasn't working right but they came back and fixed it. They were very likable."

"     In order to complete to layout design I submitted a drawing of the room as well as a series of photos.  The website for Homemade design has a questionaire what helps define your overall tastes in design.  I joined Pinterest and started boards for furniture, lighting, bookshelves which were reviewed.  Homemade design comes to New York periodically to meet with clients not in the Boston area and this gave us a chance to meet and select furniture and upholstery at the New York Design center.  This is an extra charge but well worth it since I was completely overwhelmed.  They were extremely patient and guided me through the process.  At one point I decided to move the television which turned out to be a bad idea -- they explained why it would not worked and I concurred competely after I understood the reasons.  So, they are not afraid to tell you if you going down the wrong road. I live in a New York City townhouse and forget that I do not have a whol lot of space even though my house is huge for NYC. So, I had to be told how to "scale" everything to the space we had to work with, which was helpful
I purchased the service several months ago but was not ready to actually decide on the actual purchases until recently. So, the delay in completion is because of my schedule.  I now hope to finish everything by September.

"I wanted to remodel my kitchen adding new custom cabinetry and countertops, backsplashes and lighting. We called three companies to provide estimates and design ideas. We decided on Casework Specialties even though they were not the least expensive. I felt comfortable with them from the very beginning and their vision for the space most closely matched ours. Our kitchen turned out great. I will contact them again next year for a bathroom remodel."

"Excellent. I cannot praise the work, attitude and responsiveness of this company enough. I contacted them and got a call back in about an hour. Told the what I wanted and how log a run it was and they were able to schedule it for a few days later. Showed up EARLY :) on the day they said and did a great job with the work. I will be using them again in the future should my needs include any of the work they do. Family run business that cares and it shows."

"The engine light came on and they correctly determined the cause and fixed it quickly.  It was the injectors had gone bad.  I did not have an appointment. I was very pleased  with the work."

"I sent the money and dimensions in in November 2011.  She responded back very quickly, informed me that she was very busy and wouldn't be able to start on my project for a couple of weeks.  I actually responded that that was fine.  After a month or so with no contact, i emailed.  She emailed  right back, apologized and asked for some more measurements.  I sent them.  Didn't hear anything, when in response to inquiry, she asked again for living room measurements-- that was Feb. 3rd.  On Feb. 20th, I emailed and asked for timeline.  She responded back the next day with 3 designs asking for my preference.  I emailed back on the 22nd of Feb with my preference.  On March 16th, I inquired again as to timeline for completion. Two weeks later she sent a concept board with some furnishings.  No window coverings or lights were suggested.  Three were multiple rugs with no direction of which one for each room.  All and all, not a pleasant experience.  I suspect I could have gotten better service using Pottery Barn's free design service (especially since most of the furnishings came from there.)"
