"Jason is a very skilled home improvement contractor. He did for us exactly what we had asked him to do. We needed a wall moved, our shower made bigger and a jet tub installed. If there was a problem along the way he immediately addressed it.One of the challenges Jason is having is getting good help which is probably an across-the-board problem in the construction industry. He had some personal problems that got in the way of getting the project done in a timely fashion but he was always very apologetic and up front with me. I thoroughly appreciated that. His pricing was very competitive and it did not affect the quality of his workmanship. I would hire Jason again."

Shillem Specialities lived up to what they promised to do plus more. I received professional service and quality work . They were in honest in their dealings with me by repairing what could be repaired and then replacing siding and other wood that was beyond repair. The paint job on my house compares to other professional painters at a much more affordable price. I could not be happier with the job they did for me. I will use them for all my home repairs and remodeling projects.

"Poor communication from Project Manager and owner. Signed my contract May, said probably have home constructed by Christmas, still do not have a foundation poured. Their homes look nice, but if you cannot get one built in a reasonable time what is the point. UPDATE 12/27/2019: Our home was destroyed by Hurricane Michael and we were looking for a contractor to build us a home. Our local contractors were overwhelmed by the amount of work in the area, so we went on Home Advisor and they were recommended. We signed our contract on May 19th. Was told we should be in home by Christmas. Was told on numerous occasions that our foundation would be poured the next week. It took until December 9th to pour the foundation. The Owner/ Manager Bill Ladson said he would contact me the following week to give me a time line for continued construction. Never heard from him, texted several times. As of today December 26th have heard nothing. Their work seems to be solid, but they have horrible communication and seem to be in no hurry to help the customer. Every one I have come in contact with seems nice, but nice does not build houses."
