"I had several estimates, but Kevinâ s bid was the lowest. He was very professional, prompt & did a wonderful job. He made some fabulous recommendations on colors & style. I would definitely use his services again. If you are refacing your cabinets, give Kevin a call."

"I couldn’t be happier with the work Mario did! His craftsmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail were truly outstanding. From the beginning, he was punctual, respectful, and clearly very experienced in his trade. The quality of the carpentry exceeded my expectations, and everything was completed with precision and care. Mario takes great pride in his work, and it really shows in the final result. If you’re looking for a reliable, skilled, and trustworthy carpenter, I highly recommend him. Thank you, Mario, for such an excellent job!"

"The cabinets were not only a great value but the quality of material and workmanship was exceptional! We had to replace the wooden cabinets because of the hurricane flooding in our garage and Lester recommended using King Starboard for the material which was a GREAT IDEA! We have used starboard on my boats, but using it for cabinets is ingenious! Waterproof and stronger than wood as well as looking great! And they finished ahead of schedule. We couldnâ t be happier!!!!!!!!"

Pre Made Cabinets questions, answered by experts

The cost to install a kitchen island can range from $900 to $6,500, with an average price of around $4,800 for most homeowners. The final cost depends on whether you choose a prefabricated or custom-built option. It is generally cheaper to buy a prefabricated island than to build one from scratch. A budget-friendly prefabricated cart can cost between $150 and $900, while a permanent prefabricated stationary island costs from $900 to $5,000. Custom-built kitchen islands average $4,800 but can cost $10,000 or more, depending on factors like materials, size, design complexity, and accessibility.

Most installations take 1-3 days, depending on customization and venting setup.

Most cabinetry made for a garage will have special coatings and finishes built to withstand extreme heat and cold, moisture, pest damage, rusting, and dry rot. However, many homeowners have put their old kitchen cabinets in the garage, added a couple of fresh coats of paint, and use them for a while without too much wear and tear.

As a homeowner, there are a few things you can do to prepare for your cabinet installer. Once the cabinets are ready for your home, you can do the following:

  • Ensure pets are safely in another room, out of the way of open doors and large moving objects.

  • Clear countertops for removal.

  • Tidy the floor the installers will walk through and around.

  • Prepare to have the installers in your home for the entire day, for multiple days, until the project is done. Expect to have a noisy environment, especially if they will remove old, existing cabinets.

The 1/3 rule is a design guideline used by interior designers and cabinet installers to select appropriately sized pulls for cabinets and drawers. The rule suggests that for a balanced and cohesive look, a cabinet pull should be approximately one-third the height of the cabinet door or one-third the width of the drawer face. This guideline helps create a symmetrical appearance because the human eye tends to follow the length of the pull across the cabinet face.

While the 1/3 rule is a helpful starting point, it is not the only option. If a measurement falls between available pull sizes, it's generally best to size up. For an ultra-contemporary aesthetic, you can also opt for full-width pulls that span the entire drawer.
