"The project was to make a recently purchased house accessible and workable for our son, who is paralyzed and uses a power wheelchair. This involved reconfiguring the paver stone walkway to the front door and adding concrete ramping to the garage entry door. More significantly, it also involved completely remodeling the en-suite bath and closet of the second largest bedroom, into a large bathroom with roll in shower, tiling all floors (including bedroom), adding drywall and a pocket door, painting, installing all bathroom fixtures. There were some challenges with my (over 100 yr old) condo building dated electrical wiring when installing recessed lighting and a new ceiling fan, and he was able to easily resolve. They also painted my living room, hallway, and bedroom and installed a bookshelf unit from IKEA and the end result was perfect and he added final touches that made them appear to be high-end!
