"What a great job these folks did. We basically were only moving furniture, as we had "pre-moved" most of our clothing and knick-knacks, but what a great job they did with furniture: taking apart and reassembling furniture, wrapping and protecting finishes, and securing our goods on their truck. For minor issues like a bad seal or a simple jam, a repair can be inexpensive, sometimes under $10. Once you have your garbage disposal disconnected, you can remove the mounting bracket by unscrewing the bolts that are holding the bracket. Use a regular screwdriver to pop off the snap ring, and the rest of the components should fall off by themselves.
