"Work was professionally done, workmen were professional. Remove and install 4 hurricane impact windows, remove and old mesh patio covering and shutters and install hurricane impact glass covering with sliding glass doors. This took a total of 2 days much shorter than the time span they gave us. Thank you LockTight."
"We have now used Assured Storm Protection for two jobs, including the installation of Supernova accordion shutters, CGI impact glass windows and a PGT impact glass door. Our sales representative, Greg Bono, stayed involved throughout the process and the installers were professional and cleaned up thoroughly after the installations. I highly recommend this business."
"We choose ASP impact windows and sliding doors over other vendors because their product (SIW) had thicker aluminum and glass than other less expensive products. They were able to make one 'eyebrow' window in one piece due to glass thickness that other vendors would have had to do in two pieces due to size. We just felt that overall ASP's SIW windows offered a little more safety. Our city inspector must have thought the same thing because he commented several times about how strong they were and event wrote down what they were for his own personal needs. I assume he has seen a lot of windows to inspect, so that gave me even more confidence that we made the right decision. We also had hurricane fabric installed for a covered section of our patio to replace an accordion that was being removed for storage outside of patio furniture, gas grill and plants during a storm. The hurricane fabric is so strong and convenient, it folds up and is stored in a bag, sitting in our closet. Chris our ASP sales person was great at explaining and patient while we did our due diligence. It did take a while for manufacturing, but definitely worth the wait. The installers were professional, keeping the areas as clean as possible, We are very happy with our new impact windows and sliding doors. Our house looks great with the new windows (and accordions removed). Would highly recommend."
"First I want to mention that when I was getting estimates Matt Guinn was the only one that was honest with me. I two companies trying to sell me hurricane impact sliding glass doors saying that the county won't approve the accordion shutters. When I asked Matt if the accordions were acceptable he was honest and said absolutely. I had a very strict budget and he respected that. The staff was always available to answer my questions and the shutters were up just in time for Irma's visit and they stayed in place even after the storm and I was hit rather hard. I highly recommend this company. Thank you Matt and the staff for looking out for me,"
"Maybe I was lucky but Juan Carlos came within 2 hours of my call. He took down my sliding glass patio door and changed the rollers on the bottom. He even adjusted the gasket around the glass which had, somehow in the past, gotten pinched in the frame. He identified the door lock/handle was the incorrect type and changed it for the price of the handle. Total cost, under $200. and under 1 hour. Super nice guy, even in 100 degree heat. I definitely recommend."

"Installation done professionally and when scheduled. Cleaned up after work and cleaned glass too. Special thanks to Billy and Carlos who led the installation team; and, project managers, Rafael and Daniel. Thank you Florida Solar and Air for another great experience!"
"They arrived early but called first to see if it was okay, They repaired my sliding glass door. They had to replace the rollers and track. They were quick, clean and professional. They even tried to fix the lock on my door which I didn't ask them too. They noticed it was crooked and tried to straighten out. I would recommend and hire again."
Generally, large bathroom mirrors that have been secured to the wall with glue require a multistep removal process. By taping the mirror with masking tape or duct tape, you can potentially prevent dangerous shards from falling as you loosen the mirror. A heat gun or other heat source may be needed to loosen up the glue before it can be freed using a wire saw. With glued-down mirrors being the most dangerous to remove, it's wise to hire a professional instead of handling glass on your own.
Glass walls are more expensive overall than their brick or drywall counterparts. However, if you need walls for a building with more than two or three stories, glass walls are the more budget-friendly option.
The cost of a window repair varies significantly depending on which part is damaged. Here is a breakdown of common repairs and their estimated costs:
Broken seal or fogginess between panes: $70–$245
Cracked pane: $40–$100
Broken glass: $200–$2,000
Sash, seal, or track repair: $200–$600
Latch or hardware issues: $75–$200

The methods outlined here are intended for surface scratches—ones that don’t cut into the glass very deeply. For deep scratches, you should consider a more comprehensive glass scratch repair kit. These kits come with abrasives, polishing compounds, and specialized tools designed for removing deep scratches from glass. If you feel uncomfortable tackling a deep scratch on your own, consider calling a local glass repair contractor.
Installation typically takes 1-2 hours, depending on the mirror size and mounting requirements.
