"I hired this company to put in a generator after seeing their commercials on TV, and seeing all the high reviews online. I can say that my experience has been horrible. First off, the permitting process took months, just to get the approval to install the generator. After the install, city permitting workers came out countless times sighting issues that needed to be resolved that seemingly didn’t get resolved because they’d get flagged again for the same issues. The biggest being they installed the generator too close to the natural gas line, which caused them to move the generator over about 18 inches and needing to install a giant junction box on the outside wall of my house. Not a great look. During the install and clearing permits, it’s almost impossible to get ahold of anyone to get a status update. I’d call and leave messages, email – repeatedly – before I’d finally get someone to reply. Fast forward a year, I discovered they installed one of the junction boxes incorrectly to my pool heater, causing it to fill up with water… so another repair. Now after the first year they hit you with a $600 per year contract to continue to monitor the generator for issues. Even after I signed it, I still get an email asking me to sign up every couple of weeks.. I’ve responded a dozen times telling them I’ve signed up for the monitoring program and to stop emailing me. Now the icing on the cake. I’m paying $600 a year for them to 'monitor' for problems. Today we lost power and the generator didn’t turn on. Looked at my mobile app, and it shows the cell signal used to monitor the generator isn’t working. I open the generator and the control panel that runs the entire system is blank and not working. Obviously a major problem… and isn’t that why I’m paying $600 a year for Reliable to monitor for problems and fix them before they cause an issue? This monitoring program is a scam. If they were actually monitoring the system they would've seen that my generator didn't exercise on Monday as scheduled, and that I've been offline over a week! Calling to ask that question just got me on the line with some low level customer service person, who can’t do anything but set an appointment a week from now. If you’re going to install a generator, look elsewhere."

"I've been a customer for 4 years now. Since moving to Boca 8 years ago, this is my third AC company. The first two, I had constant issues with. And then I found Island Air 4 years ago. Since then, I wouldnt change a thing. Island Air has been awesome. They are extremely professional, responsive, always on-time, etc. My first experience with them was buying a brand new unit. Since then, it has been regular servicing every 6 months. Today is the first time I have had a "warranty" issue. Island Air replaced the capacitor no problem, for no charge since Im still under warranty. They did it with a smile on their face and didnt give me a hassle at all. "David (Fleming) diagnosed error message displayed on thermostat. Called manufacture to confirm part was under warrantee, secured part thru manufacturer, went to pick up part from distributer, then came back to replace part. The initial diagnosing visit took about 1/2 hour. The subsequent visit to replace part took about the same amount of time. Most of his time was spent on securing replacement part. He handled himself in a very knowledgeable and professional manner."

"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

"This review is about Trane Air Conditioning, Not A&H Services. In 2016 I purchased a Trane Air Handler and Trane Compessor. The coil in the original Air Handler had multiple leaks in it. A & H replaced the coil in the Air Handler with one supplied by Trane. The coil was different. The original coil was an "N" coii and the replacement coil was an "A" coil. The repllacement coil is not the same size and also has different pressures. The coil allows water to be pulled into the Air Handler Compartment. As soon as the Air Handler shuts off the water is drawn into the Blower compartment. It then drops to the bottom of the machine and leaks into the backup drain pan. I have been clearing out the emergency drain pan since 2016 because I did not understand the problem. The coil has been replaced by A&H twice now. Since I had a "Parts Only" warranty, I paid A&H $1,100 to install the second coil replacement. A&H is telling me that the replacement coil supplied by Trane is not the proper part and there is nothing they can do to adjust the pressures. I believe them. Trane Warranty services says that the Replacement Coil is different and should still work. They say that A&H needs to follow the supplied installation instructions and adjust the pressures. Trane will do nothing to fix the problem. Trane s blaming A&H and A&H is telling me that the supplied part is not correct. I believe A&H. I would do business with A&H again but I will not buy another Trane. The Warranty is worthless."

"My Plumber Seth Williams was professional, knowledgeable, and neat. Seth showed up on time and kept me informed of what needed to be done. What should have been a routine toilet installation, but in my older house it was not. The old flange was cobbled in and bent Seth took the time and effort to repair the pipe and install the flange correctly. The new toilet would not flush after installation, Seth made the effort to troubleshoot the problem that was the fault of the seller or the manufacturer. I am very thankful to Admiral Pluming for sending Seth Williams."
