The only thing I regret is they did not work with my insurance company like I thought they were along & along, and I never got any paperwork showing what was wrong with the old unit so I have nothing to submit to my insurance company so not sure if I'm ever going to get anything out of that insurance plan."

My a/c would work for a little while before it would begin making noises and blowing hot air.  I assumed the worst.  The technician did a nice job of troubleshooting my a/c and explained every step of his troubleshooting.  He gave good examples of how various internal components should be performing and at what level.  He identified that the compressor was pulling too many amps while it also had an elevated pressure level.  He identified that the compressor was getting too hot too fast.  He then proceeded to clean out the a/c coils.  The coils were very dirty and you could see dirt and particles being washed away as he directed water into the coils to remove the debris.  He removed the top of the a/c and cleaned out the internal area as well.  As he was doing this, he had me watch the amp level and the pressure level.  Sure enough, as he was cleaning out the coils, the amp level fell and the compressor pressure level fell to acceptable levels.

He could have easily told me my a/c was shot and that I needed a new a/c, and I wouldn't have known the difference -- but he didn't.  It was a pleasure having him repair my a/c and it now functions fine.

Since I can do most of my services remotely with you over the phone, I am hoping to eventually open up to larger markets and help people from having to take their computer in to get it fixed, if it has internet access, I can usually fix it over the Internet. Just trying to do more to help my Angies List customers!!******** I am a sole proprietor that works out of my home. I am my only employee, but I have over 20 years experience fixing computers, and providing superior customer service. I work on a flat rate service, and don't charge by the hour because I feel it's important to educate the customer on what the issue is/was, and how to avoid it in the future. I feel that local service companies (my competition) have been overcharging customers for years. I offer a first time customer discount of 10% but I will offer 15% off for first time customers referred by Angies List. I've lived in the Huntsville area most all my life, so I know the area very well. I will never use a subcontractor as I am very picky about making sure that if my name and company is associated with something, it will be the best experience my customer has ever had, and using sub contractors won't ensure that, so I prefer to do all the work myself. Lastly, I should point out that I am a former offensive lineman for the University of Southern Mississippi and was Brett Favre's center his freshman year at Southern. I went on to play for Tom Landry in his last year, but gave up pro football early on to pursue my passion of fixing computers. If I didn't have bills to pay, I would do this for free because I love it! If you have a computer problem, I promise you that you couldn't find a better technician that will care about you as a customer, and not about the bottom line. I am always available, but don't always answer my phone, but if you leave a message, I promise to back with you as soon as possible...and figure out how to get your issue resolved in a quick, efficient and economical manner. "Both guys were very nice and wore masks the whole time. They did not wear booties while walking throughout the house but I let it go. I have a three story house counting the finished basement and 32 ducts. I was a little surprised when they showed up in an SUV instead of a truck but they assured me they had the right equipment. They removed and cleaned all returns with a whip type brush attached to a drill which spins inside the duct while they suck the soil back to the furnace with a big vac at the furnace. They do not remove the intake vents, but said they run the whip back to them from the furnace. The problem is that the whip is not long enough to reach all the way through the duct runs and I would think a brush the size of the duct would work better. After they finished, we replaced the old 5" thick filter and ran the system for a while. A number of large clumps of dirt still came through. I then replaced the filter with a new one and checked it after 5 days, picture attached. The new filter was already pretty dirty and still had some clumps of dirt in it. Maybe this is normal, but it seems like this should not happen if the ducts are really cleaned thoroughly. My conclusion is that the ducts are much cleaner than they were, but that this system is not the best based on my results. Since their price was lower than some, I guess I got what I paid for. They did offer to clean my dryer vent but I did not have them do it because it is a very short run outside. I would hire them again if they improved their method or equipment."

"This is not a duct cleaning! They merely spray a chemical into the air intake to "sanitize" the ducts. The upgrade to duct cleaning is $65 per duct. I have 15 ducts!!! Very informative transaction. No complaints

"My a/c wasn't working - we just moved into a home that had been vacant for almost 2 years.  I received quotes to fix the problem close to $3,000.00 and doesn't include labor (it was the motor to our a/c, HOME DEPOT was one of the quotes we received.  I called Mr. Llanes, and he sent Wally.  They came as expected and cleaned the coils and replaced the motor for 1/3 of what home depot and the other guys were quoting me.   3 weeks later,  the heater wasn't working and I called Llanes again and Wally came to service the unit on the same day and problem was fixed.  I would highly recommend these guys over and over again!"
