"Woke up to a leaking 12 year old water heater but in the end had an excellent experience with this company replacing it on the same day. From the initial phone call to schedule a time to the completion of the installation they were very professional. They requested photos of the current setup to make sure that everything needed was going to be in the truck before they came out to do the installation. I also received a phone call before they were heading to my location. The technician went over the installation and explained some of the maintenance aspects of the heater. REVISED 24 hours later: NO after hours or weekend support. I am editing this review 24 hours later because although I was very pleased with the work performed during the gas heater installation Friday afternoon, a couple of hours later I noticed a smell of gas in my garage where the unit had just been installed. I shut off the gas valve, ventilated the area, and later I decided to open the valve again and test for leaks around the gas connection to the water heater using a soap solution and a brush. I found that there was a small gas leak, so I shut off the valve again. By then it was between 7 and 8 PM so I decided to contact SPR Plumbing, since on the website they state that they have 24 hour emergency service available. I called but got an answering machine. I contacted them via the website also and received no response. Saturday morning I called again and left a 2nd message, but no response. Saturday afternoon, I ended up disconnecting the gas line from the heater and reconnecting it myself after placing an o-ring and some PTFE tape between the connections. After tightening the connection the leak stopped and I was able to turn on the heater again. The main point is that it is for cases like this one that there should be a way to reach someone after hours and on weekends. 24 hour energency service is advertised on their website but there is only one number to call and it has been going to voice mail."

"Totally awesome , was called within a few hours of submitting my name and problem . We called Tuesday he came out Wednesday to move our gas line that was in the center of the kitchen . He moved it to the wall where we wanted and installed our new gas cooker . Did it very quickly and made a excellent job and great price . We hired them again the Friday the same week to put in a new gas water heater , was amazed how fantastic the job he did and the price was great too. Would recommend them to everyone as the price but mostly the quality of work, there punctuality and Mike is a very friendly , and polite guy . They have defiantly won our loyalty in work when needed . Awesome"

"American Air& Heat of Brevard was the only bidder that replied on Angi. They had excellent reviews and I needed this job done in a timely fashion. They came and inspected the job and and were here on time. The estimate was complete and spelled out the entire scope of work. When it came time to do the job their people were here on time, were courteous and covered all the floors so no damage was done. They left the bathroom, where the floor had to be cut, ready for tile after they were finished. All in all a top notch job and they kept in touch with me all the way. I would hire them again!!"

Quoted me a price to replace my water heater, he showed up an hour later, replaced the water heater along with a new valve, tray and expansion tank. His price was exactly as he quoted, cleaned up after he was done and I now have hot water again. I'll hire him again without question if I need a plumber."
