They delivered a damaged unit even though we paid for a new unit. For a full year the unit suffered issues including constant gas leak. Had to call Palm Bay Air & Heat around a DOZEN TIMES and they still could not fix the simple leak!! They also dug our yard without our permission. Totally UNPROFESSIONAL! We approached another company to fix the issue and that company fixed it on their first visit! We had to pay this new company and PALM Bay Air & Heat won't reimburse this money either!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY FAR AWAY FROM PALM BAY AIR & HEAT company!!!! They are just now worth it!!

I had Palm Bay Air and Heat install a new complete York 5 ton system and I also 1.1 years ago, I also bought the extended warranty. Now “a copper like pipe” that Palm Bay Air and Heat installed had in their words “an unforeseeable incident” and caused catastrophic damage to both units and that they will not cover the damage. However, they will not state that York will not cover-today is day number 4 of no ac in the middle of July- So, I called York and spoke to a warranty rep-they told me they will not cover it because the copper pipe is not their product. However Palm Bay Air and Heat refuses to state that. Why? My attorney states it is because they want me to get upset (yes I’m there) and just buy another unit from a different company. Then when I sue they can say, “ we had not received the denial from York, of course we would have replaced the units, but Mr Brison jumped the gun.” (4 days into 100 degree index would likely cause that) but I’ll wait them out for their denial. Then I’ll buy a unit from a reputable company-and then sue PBAH. I contacted the better business bureau and I highly suggest everyone with a bad experience contact them. By doing so you will actually either help the company fail-or help them to change their ways/tactics and promote a responsible approach. For now if you are a consumer check the social media, google and the BBB-buyer beware- If you read something stating I am not a customer-feel free to IM as I have proof with receipts, and the York books-I’ve seen them try to discredit people stating they aren’t customers of their and reporting people-as you can see, their lack of conflict management skills are a ploy to discredit truthful people

The biggest rip offs and worst company I have ever dealt with. I paid them $4,000 IN CASH on March 9, 2018 for the complete install of a brand new Goodman A/C unit which malfunctioned today October 24, 2019 and when I called them for maintenance because my system shut down in 90 degree weather and I have a child and pets and despite all of that, the ignorant, unprofessional, incompetent, insensitive, unconcerned and RUDE manner that their Customer Service Representative displayed was not only off-putting but it left me wondering how the **** this business is surviving at all. They couldn't extend a one time courtesy for a great client! They cherry on the cake was they told me I had to pay them on the spot with a credit card before they can put me on the schedule. In conclusion, after giving me a 3 hour window for ETA they never showed up. I wound up using A-Best Air & Heat and I recommend them tremendously. RUN...don't walk...RUN away from Palm Bay & Heat. If your looking for a reputable company to service your AC needs, do not use these people. I will be reporting them to BBB and Yelp AND FACEBOOK.

Beware, charged me $200 per hour for a warrenty motor install. Very basic. 70 minute job, $250. Scammers. I feel very cheated compares to other AC Companies. Most other companies charge $80 per hour. No estimate just over charged. Never again. Extra screws laying around.. Terrible... I had to drive to Orlando to get the motor. What a joke..

I was considered a Senior Citizen on Social Security Disability and with that in mind was charges $250 for less then 75 minutes untechnical work. . Thats about $200 per hour. Most AC Companies charge around $80 per hour. I will post names, bills, receipt of this repair if this is not rectified. It's never good to take advantage of people!! Beware of this "Ripp Off : Company. I have reached out to Palm Bay Air & Heat. They have not returned my calls.

Took 3 1/2 days to get this work done. They charged me for a service call and also for the labor for everything. I have a 10 year warranty the clearly states for parts and labor. Had to file a claim with Discover card to get my labor costs returned to me. People said they'd return my phone calls which they didn't always do. I thought I'd try using a local company to keep business in town. I won't make that mistake again with this company and do not recommend you do also. We're in our 70's and should not have to live in a house temperature of 90°. It was late afternoon on that lat days before techs were here to do the work. I find that totally unacceptable.

After screwing me around for a year because, I had an air conditioner that didn't work. They extended my one year warranty on parts and labor. It was supposed to run out, I figured they were messing with me until my warranty ran out. It covered parts, but it didn't cover labor. They weren't going to honor it. I hit them with all of the reports and they came out right away. I told them that I wanted another one year warranty on parts and labor, or I was going to go right back at them. It's been working just fine since they did what they were supposed to do. They came out a couple of days before the warranty ran out. They did rip me off for a $25 service call. The owner did that and I didn't get that back. They did a good job this time because, they fixed what they refused to admit was wrong with it in the first place, for a year. They ripped me off and it took a year to get them to fix it. They could have done it right the first time. There were weeks in the summer when it was over 100 degree's outside and my air conditioner said 98 degrees because it wasn't working. I would go three weeks before they would get someone out here to do a service call, They told me there was nothing wrong with it, put Freon in it, and leave. There was a leak in the Freon. They never did a leak test on the Freon, it took them a year to do a leak test on the Freon, find it, and fix it. They still owe me money as far as I'm concerned. They did eventually come, but it would take days for them to come out. It is a father and son, they are a total rip off. I'm sure there are other complaints. Most of their workers are really good. The owner and his son are obnoxious, rude, and they work the business. They talked to me like I was stupid. I wouldn't use them again and I'm sure there are more reputable companies out there.

`On 8-18-14, Palm Bay Air & Heat installed a new 2 ton Goodman A/C unit. The installation was done by the tech,Jon and his helper.
On 8=12-15 The unit ceased cooling so a tech,Carroll, cleared the drain of about two gallons of water using my wet/dry vacuum
cleaner and it appeared to cool. After two hours and a decrease of 2 degrees, the cooling stopped. At 5:45pm I called the company which sent Bob with helper. They discovered that 2 gallons of water had not helped as there were still over 15 gallons of water in a full condensate pan plus many gallons in the duct near the pan. Earlier Carroll said that the float switch had malfunctioned and that he would change it out.
After clearing the water out, the unit ran well again. I showed Bob the water soaked carpet at the air handler and asked that he have management call me or come by the job site
On 8-13-15 at 9:30 I called the office and spoke to Dale who stated that he would call me back whenever he got the information.
At 11:00 I called the office again and asked that a member of management , Tom, John, or Dale call me or come by the site.
At 5:45 Carroll (tech) came with a new float switch. While Carroll was changing the float switch, it became obvious by the 2 yellow leads which had never been connected to anything.. Carroll connected the leads to his new switch and checked that the switch would work correctly. Again he noticed the stained ceiling and carpet and promised to tell John, the owner.
At 9:25 on 8-14-15 I called the office and asked that John call me .
At 8-17-15 I called and requested that John Gardner call me.
At 1:35 8-19-15 I called and asked Tracy to have John call or come by. NOTHING Guess he is ducking me.

I have been sitting here in 90+ degree temps with NO REPAIR for this
defective piece of garbage AC purchased Aug 2014 that hasn't ran right
from the get go! They have known it was defective and had a freon leak
somewhere? since Oct 2014. They were supposed to replace the inside
unit(they diagnosed the problem as defective coils) in Oct 2014. Still
waiting!!!!!!!I It is now July 2015 and my 1 year warranty on parts and
labor runs out soon. They have been here approximately 10 times this
year for the same problem. They have made no attempt to fix the problem.
All they have done is put in more freon. NO TESTS FOR LEAK. Unit does
not cool. Thermostat set on 78. Temperature 86. Just shut it off and
opened doors. I have COPD and NO AIR CONDITIONING. I paid almost $4,000
for this unit. Have cool air for about 4 to 5 days after they put freon
in it and then I suffer until I can get them back out here again.
Sometimes they take weeks to get back to me. Have asked for the owner to
return my call more than a dozen times. NO FIX FOR THE DEFECTIVE AIR
CONDITIONER! I'm sure when my warranty runs out they will want to charge
me for a service call and freon. It's a scam! I have left them 3
options to resolve this nightmare. 1. Come and get your ac and give me a
refund. 2. Replace this LEMON with a unit that works properly. or 3.
FIX this one and give me a written 1 yr warranty on parts and labor when
you fix it. So when the one I have now until August runs out your
cannot charge me for a service call and freon everytime you come out, if
it is not FIXED PROPERLY. I would really prefer the first option of a
full refund, I really need an AC that works. This has been very
detrimental to my health. My calls now go straight voicemail and no one
returns them. It's a scam! You have been warned!

Tech came out to inspect unit as was not cooling home. He determined a ball joint broke in the compressor and needs to be replaced. Also recommended a hard start on my first floor unit. Was told he would look to see if my compressor was still covered by warranty. Never received a call back the next day. I called three times to follow up and kept getting the same answer we are waiting on the vendor. Had to deal with no AC and my upstairs temp was 96 with three small children over the weekend. Still no call back on Monday. Do not waste your time or money on this company. Horrible customer service. This company must not want the $900 + I was quoted for repair.

My A/C Shut down but I was going out of town for the weekend so I called up and set an appointment for first thing Monday morning. They didn't call back Monday morning so I called them and they said they would be there between 9 and 11. They finally showed up at 1PM checked out the unit said the drain was clogged and shorted out the overflow switch the did the repairs which lasted 5 hours they said they would come back that night. I took the next day off from work they said the first time I called they would be out in the morning, then when I called them at noon it was they would be there soon, then at 6PM it was they would be there by 10PM needles to say they never showed the next morning I spoke with the owner and he said they would get to me when they got to me he didn't seem to understand that someone taking off work doesn't get paid and they I couldn't take another day off I paid $246.00 for nothing and he said he would knock $90.00 off the price but never did.

I arrived late Sunday evening at my place. When I entered I found it very hot. I attempted to reset my unit, with no success. So I started looking for a 24/7 service. The first one, advised me that there were 8 to10 calls ahead and a rather high price for the call. I then located Palm Bay Heating and Air. The person who answered, told me they could beat the other's rate and be here in a couple of hours.About 4 hours went by, and I called to find out how long. They told me since I had a roof mounted system, they needed to find a serviceman with a ladder. They said they were calling one. Finally about 1:30am I called back and they told me they were unable to find one. I asked as to why they didn't call to tell me that.. the responce was simply. I'm sorry....I called the office this AM to complain.. short story... she hung up on me...

This company was listed in the Yellow Pages as a 24-hour air conditioning service provider. When I called due to my air conditioning not working, they had a man at my house within 4 hours (not bad for a Friday night). He found the freon low and recharged it, and the bill was 200.00. He recommended a leak test to be done the following Saturday (included in the amount already paid). Our appointment time was 10AM-12PM, and by 1PM no technician, no phone call, nothing. I called the company back and was told the tech would call me. A half hour later he called and said he was on the way. No explanation or apology for his lateness. He found a bad leak in my old unit and all the freon had leaked out. A new unit was needed. He gave us the price for a new unit, and it was quite reasonable considering what we had paid for the previous one, and the price included installation and removal of the old unit. He said they may be able to install it by Monday afternoon, after the permit was pulled. It rained Monday afternoon, preventing them from coming, but no phone call or estimate of a new date. Again, I had to call them. They said Tuesday. Tuesday came and went, and no installers and no phone call. Wednesday morning I called them again, and they said today for sure. After a bit, they called back and said the parts weren't all in, so it would be late afternoon. It is now late afternoon Wednesday and they just called and said first thing Thursday morning. Living in a mobile home in Florida with no air conditioning is absolutely miserable. The prices are good and the service technician was very knowledgeable and personable, they simply have no grasp of customer contact, courtesy calls, or holding the customer's time as valuable. We have waited at home since Monday anticipating them showing up even though we had other things we'd have liked to do, but due to the lack of communication from this company, we were afraid we'd miss them. This is due primarily to the fact that although I gave them my cell phone number three different times, they still called our home phone every time. All in all, an okay company, but only if you're very patient.
