"I called a few roofers to come out and give me an estimate but I didn?t feel good about the people that came out or the lack of detail in their estimates - and then I found Oz.  He responded to my call for an estimate, was professional, and made it convenient for me to meet with him on a Saturday. He answered all my questions and explained everything in detail as to what the job would entail. I had a little concern over a skylight so he came back out, re-measured and had one specially made. His quote was pretty much in the middle of all the others, but his quote included everything. I didn?t have to worry about paying for any extra "boards" they might need.  On the morning they were to start, they started arriving at 6:45 in the morning.  I had to go to work but my neighbors couldn?t believe how methodical they were in tearing off and reroofing the house. They told me that everybody worked so well together and that it was pretty obvious that they had worked together for quite some time. "We were one week from closing on the sale of our home when a wet spot appeared on sheet rock around a window in our den.  Jacobs Roofing came over on the 4th of July weekend, found that the chimney flashing was allowing some water to wick back into the soffit and down the wall.  They repaired the flashing on the side of the chimney that leaked and also made the same fix to the other side of the chimney as a precaution.  They were prompt, professional, and experienced.  We definitely recommend Jacobs Roofing."

"Excellent! From the estimate process through the final walk around, ever person I was in contact with were professional, timely, and clearly knew what they were doing. Roof looks great, clean up was great and at completion, I pointed out a couple of minor items which they resolved on the spot. I even noticed a small tear in a window screen after they left, they had a screen repair guy at my house the same day. Not the cheapest out there (I got three quotes), but you get what you pay for (including a 15 year warranty which no one else came close to). Cost included replacement of 2 skylights, which we are thrilled with. Highly recommend them."

"Everyone at Solar Shield was very nice and professional. We had a few concerns when the moisture barrier was installed and we still had rain in our bedroom. Frank got it corrected the next day, and finished the roof the following week. The good news: very nice looking roof with no more leaks. The bad news: we got pictures of the hurricane straps installed and had the roof inspected by our insurance company. They found that the hurricane straps installed were not up to their standards and neither was the moisture barrier. They also found multiple slats (we didn’t have decking that covered the whole roof - old house) that were split and compromised during the work, so we were unable to qualify for any insurance discounts. Overall, we have a nice looking roof - top of the line from Solar Shield Industries. Hopefully, it will last a lifetime. But unfortunately, we have some decking remediation that needs to be done and we still need hurricane straps, which will probably be clips now. Not a big enough deal for me to raise a stink. I can retro clips and repair the few decking issues from the attic & under siding. And apparently, the moisture barrier is just not what the insurance company accepts as a “moisture barrier.”"
