"The installer and his assistant were excellent, repairing a damaged area of hardwood flooring skillfully, efficiently, and neatly. Communication could have been better, as it took two days to nail down an appointment — despite my open schedule — and the installers were significantly late (arriving at 1:40 P.M. for a 10-11 A.M. appointment) without any form of notice. "Florida Best Floor installed some vinyl floors at my home and I’m so happy I chose them. I had quotes for other big name companies but Andres the owner was very professional. He listened to what I wanted instead of trying to sell me something that is more costly which I didn’t need. The guys completed the job in a timely manner and my floors looks great. You can tell if you have linoleum or vinyl floors if you look under the floor's surface. Linoleum floors have color that goes all the way through the tile, while vinyl flooring uses a printed image on the surface of the tile, plank, or sheet. This image often realistically replicates the look and feel of wood, ceramic tile, stone, or other natural materials.

Laminate flooring should be stacked horizontally and laid flat to avoid any warping or stress to the boards. To stack it, you should do so in a grid with each row of flooring packages positioned at a 90-degree angle to the layer beneath it. This will provide the best support so the flooring will not sag in the middle.

The best flooring materials for a mudroom are porcelain and ceramic tiles. Both are easy to clean and maintain, and they're also water-resistant and highly durable. If you're not a fan of those types, you can also choose another nonporous flooring for your mudroom, such as stone or sealed concrete. Stay away from linoleum, cork, hardwood, and engineered wood, as water and moisture in your mudroom will damage these quickly.
