"The installer and his assistant were excellent, repairing a damaged area of hardwood flooring skillfully, efficiently, and neatly. "Florida Best Floor installed some vinyl floors at my home and I’m so happy I chose them. I had quotes for other big name companies but Andres the owner was very professional. For rooms with an even number of feet (10 x 12, for example), you can technically just multiply them together to get the number of square feet in the room (10 feet x 12 feet = 120 sq. ft.). For irregularly shaped rooms or areas that aren’t even square feet, converting to inches will be your best bet for an accurate measurement.

Berber is a loop pile carpet known for its strength, durability, and distinct looped look. It can be made from a number of different carpet materials, including nylon and wool. However, Berber isn’t as soft as cut pile carpet, so it isn’t the best carpet for a bedroom (although it’s a good style of carpet for living rooms).

With that said, if you really like the look of Berber, you can still install it in your bedroom—it just might not be as comfortable on your feet as cut pile carpeting.

To clean a subfloor after removing carpet, start by removing any leftover debris, such as stuck-on underlay, nails, or staples. Next, thoroughly vacuum the subfloor to eliminate dust, dirt, and loose particles. If adhesive residue remains, you can use an adhesive remover, a scraper, or a sander to gently lift it off. Finally, clean the surface by mopping or wiping it down with a damp rag and allow it to dry completely. This preparation is essential for ensuring new flooring adheres properly and to prevent bumps or wrinkles from forming.
