"When Robert and Frank arrived we discussed what we needed done as well as asked about other jobs we were considering to see if they would be able to do them in the future. Fixing the handicap rail was a godsend as well as replacing the batteries in all 10 smoke alarms. We also had our laundry door rehung as it needed to be switched from opening in to opening out. They cleaned up after they completed all jobs even though we find them it was not necessary. It was truly appreciated. I encourage anyone that needs a handy man hire Robert you will not be disappointed. I know we are getting out to do list together and our supplies so Robert can help us again. He even preformed a magic trick which was fun. I have nothing but praise for Robert and look forward to working with him again in the near future."

"The trunk was in very bad condition. Eugenio restored the outside and the inside, including building a drawer/shelf that was missing. It took a month longer than originally promised, but the results were worth it. Eugenio was actually recommended to me by another furniture restoration company that was highly rated, but did not restore trunks. While it cost more than I'd like, I was happy with the results.

Carpentry questions, answered by experts

You can enclose an open carport, however, there are several things to consider before opting to do so. You'll want to check local building codes and permit requirements before proceeding to make sure it’s legal. While you can sometimes stick-frame a carport enclosure, pre-fab kits are also available. Remember that you'll likely need to meet concrete slab regulations and provide lighting inside the structure. Both of which could substantially drive up costs.

Framing most homes takes anywhere between five and eight weeks to complete. You’ll need to account for inclement weather conditions, material shipment times, the number of crew members, and the weight of your materials. If the weather is too hot, wet, or cold for the installation, this process could take closer to eight weeks.

Accurate measurements, sturdy materials, and seamless integration with other structures.

Enhances property value, ensures safety, and provides a sound basis for future construction.

A few signs that you need a new door frame include:

  • The door no longer fits properly in its frame and sticks or scrapes.

  • You notice cracks, holes, or rotting.

  • You feel a draft coming from around the door when it’s closed.

  • You find yourself frequently needing to make repairs.
