Victor is one of the most amazing people I've ever met!! I needed a knob replacement on a 100 year old chest of drawers and he actually made one that is an exact duplicate to the original. I spoke to him on a Wednesday and I picked it up on Thursday. He is so very kind and honest with such professionalism and integrity. Please check him out for all of your antique needs.

I had four pieces of living room furniture repaired and refinished. They charged a reasonable amount for quality work. If you want cheap, this is not the place, but if you have nice furniture and want to keep it, then they know how to make it look great.

After searching many different companies, I was very please with the review that I read on Angie's list. June was always very responsive to my many questions, and explained the options of what we could do with the piece. We didn't want to hide the beautiful wood work by painting it, so we decided to have it stripped and stained. Victor and Jerry were so kind, professional and careful with the piece. They even took a leaf that we had wanted the China cabinet to match, and they did it flawlessly! I would highly recommend this company, and we will definitely be using them again very soon. Everything they have done has been done beautifully. Refinished the top of a mahogany chest that had a deep scratch - looks perfect. Touched up a chair - looks perfect. Stripped and painted an end table - looks like it came from a high end furniture store. June, her husband and their employee are real professionals. We recently purchased a dining room server that was damaged during shipping.  There were a couple of significant dents in the front, and a place where the finish was damaged.  Family Furniture did an incredible job of repairing the piece!  You can't tell that there was ever any damage there!  They even fixed the finish in some areas that we hadn't noticed before.  They did this all within the original price, and in less than a week.  In addition, June and Jerry are exceptionally nice people and are a pleasure to work with.  We will be using Family Furniture for all of our future furniture repair needs.  They also have a very nice selection of antique furniture at their store!

The final product was exactly what we wanted.  June told us they had not done anything like this before, but you would never know it from the finished product - it was fantastic.  We initially gave them a shelf to work with so they could come up with the finish my wife was looking for.  When we went down the first time to look at what had been done, it wasn't quite there.  My wife talked with the re-finisher and explained in detail what she was hoping for.  When we went back the second time - the shelf had the exact finish she wanted.  We had the entertainment center picked up at our house; they were on time and even spent some time with us discussing other furniture that we had.  What we thought might be a several months process, was completed in weeks.  They delivered the entertainment center to the house and took it upstairs; it looked great!  We have friends who have used Family Furniture Antiques and they had the same positive experience we had.  I currently have a dining room chair in our van to take to them tomorrow - our son's dog chewed on it.  I am sure when they are done with it, you will never know it was damaged.
