He asked if they could do my driveway that afternoon. I okayed it. He responded, but left once his crew started working. He returned when the 3" layer of asphalt we agreed on, was in place. It was then he tried to sell me an additional layer, saying it would prevent water damage. He offered it for an additional $ 2500 initially, but when I hesitated he dropped the price first to $2000, then $1500, without any negotiating by me. I became suspicious his "am" cancellation called for more asphalt than was needed to do my driveway and felt he was trying to recoup his losses by dumping it on me."
