It was then he tried to sell me an additional layer, saying it would prevent water damage. He offered it for an additional $ 2500 initially, but when I hesitated he dropped the price first to $2000, then $1500, without any negotiating by me. I became suspicious his "am" cancellation called for more asphalt than was needed to do my driveway and felt he was trying to recoup his losses by dumping it on me."
