"After paying thousands of dollars to this company to install a sump pump to clear water from my backyard and help to control flooding in the future to prevent a screened porch from flooding, the porch flooded 2 more times. Contacted after the first flood since the pump was installed and received no response. The 2nd time it flooded, I reached out to another company, P&T Land Services who responded quickly. Upon their inspection of the pump installed by Back 2 Basics Restoration, they found that there is no way the pump would EVER have come on because the lid was solid! Not only was it solid, with only a hole for the piping to be attached, but they used lid designed to be used for a utility box for Jacksonville Electric Authority! I also paid them to install new indoor/outdoor carpet in the screen porch that flooded. They did lay the carpet down but did not use any tape or glue to fix it down. When I questioned that, they said I didn't ask for that. The old carpet was taped down"

A sub contractor with an entirely different company (National Mold Company) was sent. When the contractor arrived, he stated that the job would be much more simpler than first thought. This led us to believe that the job would cost less, no. All said and done, they charged $5500. All said and done, it's almost like no work was done. The stains and the smell are still there. Only one actual board was taken upon the attic room. The ceiling in the bedroom was primed and painted but are still visible and have a funky smell. At this point I'm going to. Do what we should have done; Do the job ourselves. Just now with $5500 less dollars in our pockets. A detailed receipt was not given even though it was requested."

It was a job that most people did not want to do. They were on time and very respectful. They fixed our problem and when they found out that we wanted to redo our wood floors he said he felt bad because we would have saved money if we had done it all at the same time. He'd offered to give us a credit if we replace our floors within 6 months. He stuck to his word I didn't have a lot of money to spend and they really worked with me must say the owner Hector is a very humble person not above doing the physical work. I would recommend them to my family and friends and would certainly call them again."
