I originally wrote a glowing review for this company. What a mistake. I forgave the fact that one guy started cutting a metal piece in my kitchen/family room sending sparks everywhere. In shock, I ran in and asked him to take it outside.....he did.....near my car!! UGH The project was to install a stove hood and sink. They finished the hood, but these guys were NOT plumbers. They had to come back because they didn't hook up the water to my dishwasher and fridge. UGH again. It's been two years and last night I came home to a blocked sink but the bigger problem was pipes leaking under the sink. On inspection the pipes were clearly misaligned ......it's a miracle they didn't leak earlier. Now I have to pay a real plumber to come fix their mistake.....I would never recommend this company to anyone. UGHHHHHH

Hammer Construction Services did a wonderful job on my mom's house. My dad had recently passed away, so it was a difficult time for the whole family. Having confidence in your contractor to show up and complete a project on time is priceless. We had them tear down and replace an existing deck. The deck was 30ft x 16ft. I am totally impressed. Excellent carpentry work and craftsmanship. I am a structural engineer and the deck is very solid. We also had a dilemma that was unique to the build. It scared some contractors away when we were first getting quotes. The original deck had the main power line to the house being fed thru 2.5 inch PVC pipe that ran thru 6 of the horizontal joists in order to get to the meter that was underneath the deck. So the dilemma was how do you build a new deck when the power line is in the way of where the new joists would be running horizontally from the house. Hammer crew went over with us many different solutions around the problem and we came up with one that would be both cost and time effective. I would highly recommend this company!

Extremely pleased with Hammer Construction Services. I was nervous outsourcing work for the first time in a house. I initially did the framing myself for a basement finishing and realized I was in over my head. Humberto came out, pointed out some key pieces, and got me a rough estimate quote right away. We later met at his office and went through the final itemized total and really was a very reasonable price and time line. All of the workers were punctual, polite, and did a phenomenal job. Everyone treated the job like it was their own home and the quality showed! Again, I was nervous trying to pick folks after my parents and friends have all had bad experiences of poor work or people taking the money and running. EVERY aspect of the interaction with Peter and his team made me feel comfortable with the process. I would 100% use Hammer again. Hopefully doing a deck this summer or next!

We had them come out for a bid, I gave them my architectural drawings and have not heard back from them. I tried calling to get my plans back and never got a response. Left a message through the app and nothing. Not a review I like to leave but after 2 months of no reply and still need my plans back, they left me with no option.

After interviewing several contractors, I chose Hammer Construction Services because Victor really seemed to understand the scope of what I wanted with my addition/remodel, and wasn't afraid of any aspect that might be involved. Victor worked with me extensively to help me scale my project to fit my budget without compromising quality. Humberto, is a professional, personable asset to Hammer for making sure every detail of the project is executed to satisfaction. As the project progressed, Hammer was able to adjust to additional needs over and above my initial project. Every job has the “unexpected”, but Hammer was able to work through any issue with a calm and professional demeanor, which meant a lot to me. It turned out to be a more extensive project than I intended it to be, but I am very happy with the results, and I love my beautiful new kitchen! Great experience with Hammer Construction Services Great customer service at every level. They predicted that the renovation would take 5 weeks and they were true to their word. Professional teams from the estimate to planning the project to protecting my home for the project to all of the crews who performed all of the actual work. They also worked to stay within my budget. Communication was excellent with a supervisor named Humberto who stayed on top of the project from start to final inspection. Incredible team of professionals who were knowledgeable in carpentry, plumbing, and electricity. Incredible artisans were acquired to complete tile, granite and hardwood floors. They were very accommodating to move furniture back in place and do finishing touches. A remodel that my family and I will enjoy for years to come.

My wife and I have used Hammer Construction Services for several jobs over the last couple of years. We live in a house that was built in the 1965s, so there are plenty of things that need work! Hammer has helped us with jobs that include the following: window replacement, basement remodeling, garage door replacement, house painting, caulking, room painting, and many other small house repairs. We usually work directly with Humberto. He is super friendly, and always makes sure that we are 100% satisfied. Hammer construction workers have always been professional. We plan to continue to use again. We highly recommend them for any construction job!

Savio was our project manager. He did a great job ensuring the project was completed as agreed. This is my 3rd home remodel in 3 years, and they are one of the best contractors we've worked with. We had our master bathroom completely redone, painted 2,000 sq. ft. from the ceilings to the baseboards, removed large arches and posts in the living room, added crown molding to the kitchen, opened a wall area in the kitchen, reconfigured the bookshelves in the family room, wall papered two rooms and designed a new laundry room. Humberto completed the actual design of the laundry room based on my wants/needs. I selected all of my paint colors and materials for the entire project. Savio managed most of the project while I was out of state. I would definitely hire them again. Great work!
