This means that your belongings are loaded on the truck and not combined with anyone else’s items (from/to west coast only). They are not transferred to other trucks or facilities in route which causes damage and loss of items (typical with van lines). We have a set loading day and unloading day. This is by far the safest way to ship. Our interstate rates are per 24ft moving van that holds up to 8,500lbs or 1400CuFt. Some customers require one truck and some require more. One truck holds the average 1800SqFt.

The technician came out, said it was definitely not Chinch bugs, it was fungus and sprayed for bugs and fertilized. After 10 days the lawn was worse and we had a new problem of lawn burn from over fertilizer. Called the office, left a message and NEVER received a call back. Called another service and they showed me the live Chinch bug infestation and verified that the other problem was over fertilization. Never use these folks, they are great at excuses but lousey at service."

"Awful. Scheduled time of arrival 8:30 to 9:30 am on Saturday 11/2 however arrived at 11:30 am. Which I had to be out of my old condo no later than 1 pm and was told to Lux given their strict rules. It took the 2 guys until 1:23 pm to load everything. Little did I know at that time the 2 guys were up for more than 24 hours. Performed a job until 4 am and did not go to bed. Therefore I did not get 100% performance. I was given an estimate of 3-4 hours to move. Ended up taking over 8 hours. I do not fault the guys but I do fault the moving company. Tried to hand me a bill for over $1200 and that was simply not right. I had to negotiate to a sum of $945 but give up my rights to damaged property in return for the cut rate. If I had 2 laborers at 100% I can see where it would have only taken 3-4 hours. But I was not given that choice or option. I felt as if I was talked down to with not understanding moving. I am an Accountant and hold an advance degree such as an MBA with Accounting, Finance, HR and Logistics are my specialty. This move left a bitter taste and Lux should be subject to review."
