Terrible. Things were boxed, sealed, not labeled as to contents or what room. Things that were in one area were placed in boxes from another area "to fit". All boxes were stacked in the garage with no way to identify contents. This was supposed to be the first of two move days but will not be having them complete the move. Will hire another company and do not recommend AllMySons for anything. Price below is for the first move day, not the total move. VERY dissatisfied.

!!!!BEWARE SCAM!!! I called "All my Sons Moving" for a estimate for a same day move because a previous company stood me up. I spoke with Anthony at the company who gave me a $505 quote for the move and a breakdown of the charges. He recommended 3 movers for a little more by the hour but assured me the job would get done quicker. We came to an agreement and they sent the movers to meet me at my storage unit at 2:45. The movers did any average job (they weren't in any hurry to move the furniture), from the storage unit to the apartment it took them about 45 minutes longer than it took me to drive there. Once everything was loaded, I made sure the moving truck followed me to the house. When we arrived at the house at 5:30 the driver got his iPad so we could go over the charges $1049, which had an estimated end time of 7:30. I was livid I asked the driver to speak with Anthony because the charges weren't correct. He got another gentleman on the phone who told me the charges were accurate and that I needed to pay them, I again asked to speak with the person who gave me the original quote of $505 for the move. He said the he would have Anthony to call. He spoke with the driver and told him to instruct the other movers to stop working until the bill was paid in full. I spoke with Anthony who basically told me he didn't tell me any of things that we agreed upon in the original conversation, I hung the drivers phone up on Anthony. He called the driver right back and started cussing and getting irate to the point that the driver hung up on him also. I explained how unprofessional the whole experience was and he agreed and apologized for Anthony's behavior. At this point, I wanted the job done so we could settle in. I paid the bill $1049. The job was done at 6:45 so I was due a full hour refund ($149) but I received a refund in the amount of $110.

They rescheduled the start time 3 times. When the movers finally did show up, it was raining, and they obviously did not want to be there. they sat in the truck for a few minutes waiting on the rain to stop, then when they came in, their first question was, 'do you want to cancel?' When we said no, they began telling us everything they could not do. We had been told when scheduling that they would assist with any unfinished packing, take down the flat screen tv, etc. They refused to do any of this, so we fired them. I definitely will NOT recommend this company to ANYONE.

Arrived on time.  Professional.  Did not charge for time during thunderstorm when they could not be working.  Nothing broken.  No problems what so ever.  The cost was high but they were up front about it, no surprises.

Basically went well, with one exception:  a desk was dismantled to move it into the new house, and when it was put back together the top drawer did not work.  It took about 4 calls to the company to get someone to come out and make the drawer work.  This was the only issue, and the company had had to dismantle and put back together a recliner that electronically reclined so it would go through doorways, and this was done without any hitches.  The real problem had been that inexperienced personnel tried to put the desk back together, and it was not checked by the more experienced personnel before they left.  When it was put right, I was very happy.

The move went very well, all things considered.  They showed up early on moving day, which I didn't mind because that meant we could get finished earlier.  I felt like the movers were very quick and efficient at getting things packed up in the truck and they were taking extreme care to protect my furniture from damage.   The unloading process was not as smooth -- I think the team was tired and got a little more careless with the furniture, but they were still professional and did a nice job in the end.  All in all it was a good, solid experience and nothing was damaged in the move.  I would use them again.

The movers were actually quite great.  Very clean, professional, and I saw them take a great deal of care to pack things with some thought behind what they were doing.  Great team.  I felt bad the company only sent two guys to do the entire job in two days.  The company also provided a truck that was too small, leaving behind things like garage shelving and a bicycle for me to move. They stuck my TVs in my two cars and we drove our dogs to our new home, then had to turn around and come back to get the rest of the stuff so I could turn keys in on the rental.  That was all part of the terrible planning job the estimator did.  The really bad part was when it came to pay the second half of the bill and I was hit with overtime hours for the two guys.  It took longer becuase of time taken to pack a truck that was too small, and a crew that was too small for the job.  Luckily I had boxes in my attick - dish paks, and wardrobe boxes.  Otherwise they would have been short on boxes too.  Where did this all go wrong??  The Estimator who quoted me just screwed it up!  I answered all questions he asked honestly about furniture, rooms, appliances and so on. I was very clear I wanted the estimate to be over rather than under.  I wound up having to charge my bank, my credit card, and write a personal check to cover the balance which was $3800 above what I was expecting. No matter how good the packers were (nothing broken either), the company didn't do the job asked for because the estimator did not know what they were doing!! This guy needs to get off his a*** and make a site visit or two - If I owned the company I'd make him go pack and move for a month until he understood the business better!

We contracted for Tuesday.  They called Monday and asked if they could do it Monday instead..we had no problem with that.  We went right over to the facility, and waited more than 2 hours for them to show up.   All her clothes went to Goodwill, so they did not have to box them up at all.  They had to box up lots of pictures, and a few knickknacks and really nothing else.  They charged us $173 for boxes.  For a comparison, we moved out of a two bedroom apartment with kitchen and were charged $40 for boxes.  There were 2 guys working at the 300 sq ft and it took them 5 1/2 hours.  It took 2 guys 5 hours to pack the two bedroom apartment.  The 300 sq ft room cost $617.  The apartment cost $400.  The move from the 300 sq ft facility was within 15 miles. One stop at Goodwill, on the way to the storage facility.  We had to pay for a whole hour, $139.  The apartment was an hour and 1/2 away to the final destination, we paid $100.
There was nothing broken, and no horrible experiences.  But, I think the costs are totally out of line.

Great Job!!     This was my second move with All My Sons Moving.  I was pleased with my move in July 2011, so I hired them again for this move.  They were easy to get in touch with to get an estimate for my move.  I decided for the size of my house to use 3 men for the move and the hourly rate was reasonable.  They charge a one hour fee to get to and from the job, which is fair considering the price of gas these days.  I was contacted ahead of time, just as promised and they showed up on time.  The men who came were clean cut, prompt, polite (they all introduced themselves), and professional.  They wasted no time and took very good care of my furniture, especially a large antique glass china cabinet that belonged to my grandmother.  Everything was loaded carefully onto the truck and unloaded just as carefully at the new house.  This was a first class operation from start to finish and I am very pleased!  :-)

They arrived on time but things went downhill from there.  They were constantly on break.  We were bringing items out and sitting them by the truck in an effort to get them moving.  It was a two story townhouse most items had already been brought downstairs before they arrived.  I never walked outside once that they weren't eating or drinking.  Knowing that we would be moving in a year we didn't have a lot of furniture.  It was mostly boxes that we had prepacked and put in the garage.  It took us 20 minutes to go from the townhouse to the house we were moving into.  They left before us but arrived an hour after we did.  I had to pay before they would unload the furniture.  They estimated how long it would take to complete the job.  I watched the washer get away from one of the movers narrowly missing hitting the driveway.  They put the bed together with the legs of the head and footboards about 4 inches off the floor.  I pointed out that it didn't look right and it took all three of them to figure out they needed to level the bed by twisting the legs of the frames.  They broke a bookcase and refused to repair or replace.  They also damaged a table because they didn't know they needed to take the legs to get it out the door. At this point he made a phone call to his "boss" since I was unhappy with the quality of the move and said he could discount the move since they would be finishing earlier than expected.  It was still nearly double the estimate. There are still somethings that I cannot find from that move.  And we had to go back to the townhouse to make  repairs to the walls they had damaged because they insisted on  moving furniture without disassembling.   DO NOT HIRE THIS MOVING COMPANY!

The guys arrived a little late due to the need to pick up some packing tape. The work was efficient and professional. A dolly was used for all boxes and furniture was wrapped with moving blankets. There was no damage to the houses or to the items moved. In all a very smooth move.

They had an agent that provided service in the Albany, New York area. They were fairly efficient and did the job well. They reset our bedroom furniture. Things arrived in very good condition and they stuck to the estimate. They had done everything they said they were going to do.
