Description of Work: Move furnishings from a two-bedroom unit to a three-bedroom condo within the same complex

Description of Work: DN should stand for Do Not, as in do not use this company. They moved us from Jacksonville, Florida to Ponte Vedra, Florida, approximately 20 miles. I was assured that the move was local and I would not need to buy extra insurance. Nothing was further from the truth. | |They picked our furniture up on November 17, the day of the tornadoes and high winds. When everyone got text alerts on their phones saying stay off the roads the movers called the office. They told us that the office told them to work or quit. It was down hill from their. They were all mad at the company and they took it out on us. Also, one of the movers said to my husband "You must be rich" as if that meant it did not matter how our things were handled. By the way, we are not rich. We have worked hard and bought furniture piece by piece over years and years. We have no young children and no pets. We have taken excellent care of our furniture. | |Their movers were unprofessional. They cursed and called each other derogatory names. They had no leader and apparently no training. They managed to damage almost every piece of furniture we own. We called the office twice during the move to ask for a supervisor to call us because the movers were destroying our furniture. No one ever called us back. We sent the company almost 200 pictures showing damage. | |Although our furniture was in pristine condition and no damage was noted; the company says that it is all cosmetic and normal wear and tear. They actually bent the touch plate on the back of the china cabinet and parts of my leather couch are now embedded in my walls. They broke a one of a kind blown glass bowl and offered me $12 to replace it. There is actually a spot on a shelf inside of an armoire that looks like it was sliced with a knife. | |No one has apologized or said "We are sorry you feel that way."
