"I call in the morning, they sent a serviceman same afternoon. He called 20 min before arrival. started working right away. Took about 1 hour had it all done as I already had the tank drained. He was very efficient and he cleaned up afterwards. Answered any questions I had. Price same as quoted. I would hire them again. Just a note- the heaters the pro can buy are not the same as you can get at a big box store. This one is from the professional series. Lots of differences."

"One of the best....great service and wonderful people to work with...not only did I get a new Hayward variable speed pump, but they corrected some plumbing at no extra charge. I worked with Ken, the owner and he was very professional and helpful. I would recommend this company to everyone."

"I hired Kinetico to install a full house reverse osmosis system. I bought a house in Lehigh Acres that a master plumber said "this is the worst smelling sulphur water I have seen in over ten years" about. After installation the rotten egg/sulphur smell has been completely removed. Everyone from the installer, to Rick the salesmen and Marcus the customer experience manager has been fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone needing help with their water quality."

"Solid 5 star company, the people here really care about delivering high quality customer service and work. They have fixed many issues for us, the prices are amazing. They never have issues figuring out a solution. They have saved us many times in emergencies. It is not easy to find good companies in this area. Highly recommend them. The operator is amazing and helpful, always going the extra mile. The plumber Anthony and the rest have always delivered awesome service, clean up after themselves well and very polite and helpful, love these guys."

"A valve developed cracks over the years and began leaking and eventually shooting water in all directions.   From the beginning the scheduler was courteous and helpful setting the appointment.  The repair rep was here on time, very professional and had all the needed parts on his truck.  The repair was done quickly and done right within the initial visit.  I am very pleased with the whole experience and my pump is working perfectly.  Before leaving, he also answered my questions and adjusted the sprinkler system's timer for me.

"This was a huge job, I got several quotes but it n the end I picked Doug. Not only was his price fair, but he went into great detail on how the job would progress and what I should expect along the way. During the job Doug and his crew kept my home as clean as possible, didn't let any of my pets escape and generally treated my home as if it were their home. They finished the job on schedule and without surprises. I'm not a plumber, I have to trust the person I hire and I can honestly say that I will never have any other plumber in my home."

Sump Pump Installation questions, answered by experts

A small sump pump running infrequently uses an average of 10 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity per month. The average cost for electricity is $0.171 per kWh. The size and use frequency affect how much electricity it uses. Sump pumps average one-third to one horsepower (hp) motors. One hp is equal to 745.7 watts. Watts multiplied by the time your pump is running divided by 1,000 equals your average kWh. Multiply kWh by your average cost of electricity. In areas with high rain or a marsh basin, the average cost can be as high as $15-$25 a month.

No. Sump pumps have different capacities, which refers to the volume of water that they can remove. They also come in various horsepower ratings, which measure the size of the pump’s motor. For many homes, 1/3 horsepower is enough. But if you live in an area that floods often, you might need a more powerful model.

Yes, you can add a battery to your existing sump pump. There are batteries available that can be plugged into your existing system; however, most battery backups come as a complete system and act as a replacement for your existing sump pump.

If you’re wondering if your home even needs a sump pump, consider whether you’ve struggled with flooding issues in the past. If your house is in a flood-prone area, your yard has poor drainage, or you’ve dealt with any other water problems, then it’s likely well worth it to replace your old sump pump with a new one.

Submersible and pedestal sump pumps are two popular types of sump pumps. Submersible models are covered by water in a sump pit, which helps keep the motor cooler and quieter. Pedestal sump pumps stick out of the sump pit, so the motor stays dry and is easier to access. Submersible sump pumps are the pricier option, but they also have longer life spans.
