We have chosen to use only the most dependable and highest quality materials. Quality, dependability, and customer satisfaction are the cornerstones of our organization. Additional email - [email protected] & [email protected]. Additional contact names - Earl W. Johnston, Lynne Johnston. TWELVE Time ANGI Super Service Award Winner, GAF Award winning Master Elite contractor. Ygrene Certified. Make A Wish of Southern Florida Signature Sponsor.

"Have used this roofer for over 10 years and have always been happy until having a roof-a-cide treatment and subsequent pressure cleaning of our pool pavers recently. We have before and after pictures of the pavers, they are damaged by the roof-a-cide and/or the pressure cleaning. Unfortunately the company is taking no ownership of the resulting aftermath of the treatment. Sometimes you find out more about a company after something goes wrong."

Welcome to Caldwell Roofing! South Florida’s premier residential Roofing Contractor for over 25 years. We pride ourselves on being the most respected Professional Roofing Contracting company in South Florida. Our success has been built on the following conservative and sound business policies: We are family owned and operated, with daily “Hands-On” management, and are licensed by the State of Florida, not just the counties in which we operate. All roofing work is performed by our OWN employees, helping us to achieve a consistent high level of quality un-paralleled in the industry. Our management supervisory personnel visits each project daily. All employees are covered by Workers Comp insurance. We carry liability insurance with limits exceeding the levels mandated by the state of Florida. All work is performed in its entirety once it has begun, eliminating the delays and excuses used by typical roofing contractors. We require a small up-front deposit, allowing for the proper permit application and filing process only. All construction operations are completed using our business stability and financial resources, not yours. You pay only for what is in place. Through our unique design process, we take an active roll in working with each customer throughout the decision making process of the many choices of roof coverings available. We also provide up-to-date and accurate information with regards to product availability. We clean each jobsite daily, and do not leave construction equipment, dumpsters, or trucks over night (like most companies do), and allow your residence to be occupied and enjoyed by the people who should…you! We answer our telephones, return phone calls, schedule appointments (and actually show up!), and respond to our customers needs, providing an unmatched level of customer satisfaction. We invite you to visit our facility in Boca Raton to meet our staff, take a tour, and see why the most discriminating homeowners, top tier government and building officials, building contractors, and management companies choose Caldwell Roofing as their trusted professional Roofing contractor.

"Caldwell was professional, neat and fast. Quality work. We love our new roof. We wouldn't use anyone else!"

"D’Agostino Roofing was not only professional, attentive, & reasonably priced, but they also helped to figure out and solve a leak in my roof, that 2 other companies that I had initially called, could not. I have since recommended them to other friends and neighbors, and they too were very pleased with their service. Thanks again D’Agostino Roofing!!!"

From residential roofing installation to commercial remodeling retail build-outs, we do it all! We are a family owned business that always aims to exceed our customers expectations.

"J& J Quality Builders of the Palm Beaches It’s been about a year now since we had our roof replaced by J&J Quality Builders. They were extremely professional, did an excellent job and paid attention to details from beginning to end. Recently we had an issue with the leak that it ended up NOT coming from our roof but from our OLD windows. J&J was right there helping us figure it out where the leak was coming from and were willing to what it took to fix it, if it had something to do with our roof. I would highly recommend that them! Please tell them Debbie Hill sent you. ?"

"Damage to Septic Drainage field. They blamed it on their own third party contractor and told me to take it up with them. Nice. Faux Inspection: I was told there would be a legitimate inspection by a private third party. In fact, the “inspection” amounted to one of their employees sending a few photographs and a very short video call. It was not a true inspection by any standard. It was a joke. Ridge Shingles: Attached pictures of the ridge shingles. I'll let them speak for themself. Kelly Roofing’s Response: "Well, it passed inspection." (See previous item.) (Every roofer that has looked at it says it needs to be fixed.) Kelly has looked at it and done nothing. Blocked Circulation: After it had passed their private party “inspection”, another roofer informed me that insulation was covering up virtually all of the soffits! This is a VERY big deal. Improper circulation can lead to mold, premature failure of the roof, and void out the manufacturer's warranty. I expressed major concerns about circulation given the materials they recommended even before any work had begun, and they assured those materials would be fine because there would be plenty of circulation. See attached photos of the roof that were taken during the roof installation. You can see the plywood they removed (far more than initially estimated by the way). Whether they moved the insulation in the process of replacing the plywood or not, the insulation is clearly blocking all airflow from the soffits. I even personally expressed concerns to the project supervisor about blocked circulation through the soffits at this point and he assured me it would be taken care of. It wasn't. When insulation is preventing circulation in the roof, a reasonable, professional, and appropriate course of action from a roofing company would be to pause the project, inform the homeowner, and discuss solutions for unblocking the soffits before proceeding. Kelly Roofing’s Response, when I confronted them about this: insulation work isn’t “in the contract” and it was “not within the scope of their work.” Really? Is that what you expect from a reputable roofing company?"

Chimney Repair questions, answered by experts

Zinc roofs can last over 100 years under ideal conditions. While metal roofs last a long time, only copper roofing is comparable to zinc's longevity. Zinc roofing develops a patina over time, turning from dark shades to lighter ones. The material, or at least the patina coating, is somewhat self-healing by filling in small gaps and scratches on its own.

Copper roof strips can last for 20 to 30 years or more if properly installed—in many cases, they may outlast your roof. Inspect your roof annually to ensure copper roof strips remain properly adhered and undamaged, and repair any loose or lifted strips. With very little upkeep, copper roof strips can protect your roof for decades to come.

Metal roofs are dangerous to walk on, even for professionals. Metal shake does offer some texture to help with grip, but metal itself is extremely slippery, especially at a medium to steep pitch, so call in a pro rather than getting up on the roof yourself. They’ll have the necessary safety equipment and experience to avoid injury.

Generally, to install roof flashing, you shouldn't use screws. Rather, it's best to use either roofing cement or nails. For the best results, match your nail type with the flashing materials. If you have aluminum flashing, use aluminum nails, and so on. You can use the same nails for your asphalt shingles and flashing.

Roof repair costs about $1,100 on average. The cost to repair a roof depends on the size, type of roof, and severity of the issue. Additional cost factors include the type of repairs needed, the pitch and complexity of the roof design, any permits required, and the labor cost in your location. The time of year can influence the overall price, too, as winter repairs can be more expensive due to the slippery conditions for working on a roof.
