James Ball Chimney Cleaning
About us
I started this business in 1984, and used my name because I felt that this showed the most integrity. I have tried to keep that idea for every job. Most companies look at you as “just another job” but we know that the only job you care about is the one we do in your home for you. As James Ball LLC. Chimney Sweeping moves forward, we strive to continue to give our customers the service they have come to expect and deserve. LICENSE NUMBER: WC-8899-H98, CT# HIC0568337.

It is rare, in 2016, in Fairfield County, CT, to find great old-fashioned service like this.
"[Member Name Removed], when we make an appointment we are very clear as to what will be done and what our charges are up front if we where twice the cost why did you hire us (you confirmed our Email) your job was to cleaning of the Fireplace "Flue" that is from the floor of the fireplace to the top, an Ash Trap can be ceiling to floor in the basement and the size of a small closet, now we do clean them from time to time but it can take several hours, how can that make any Sense at only $175.00 for the cleaning? By this logic I would pull out a power washer and wash any staining on the out side of the fireplace, the Smoke Stains on the face and wash the brick inside the fireplace to look like new, see how this can get out of hand very quickly? Again we cleaned the fireplace flue and you paid for that, if you wanted other work done we would have done that but there are additional cost and we didn't do that work and then hand you a massive bill we told you up front as honestly as we could, sorry you did not understand the written Email every one gets. James"
He charged what he said, and nothing more.
We will have him clean our fireplace flues again in 2016. He did a very good job. He was very neat and considerate of our furniture.
