Jerry is the best! Figured out the problem very quickly then inspected the doors. Went above and beyond with service. Offered upgraded rollers which i had him do, made a great deal of difference in the operation. Highly recommend Stars and Stripes and Jerry in particular.

It has been a while, but I think his name was Jerry and he was excellent, very organized and professional.

We used their services for around ten years or more. They send a postcard every two years as a reminder for a garage door tune up. I have never had any problems with their services. Our experience with them was fine.

Called around to get quotes and Stares and Stripes Door Service had the most competitive price and the person who answered the phone was very courteous and helpful. Scheduled them to come out Monday 11/19 @ 2:00, got a call at 2:00 and the service rep said they were 20 mins away. Upon arrival the service rep diagnosed the problem and explained everything that needed to be performed.

Service rep was very professional and methodical as he repaired the garage door. At the end of the repair, the service rep offered suggestions to keep the garage door working effectively and quietly. The whole experience took about 1.5 hrs. I will use Stares and Stripes Door Service again.

Phone call estimate was accurate when I paid the final bill. Technician showed up when promised. Inspected and lubed the system. Recommended roller replacement during the inspection. I will use them again.

He did a great job. It is much quieter and now works again. He was very professional and I would use him again.

We called late in the day due to broken lift spring on our garage door and they set an appointment for the following morning, which is great when your cars are stuck in the garage. The tech was on time and finished in about 20 minutes. He also recommended a couple of upgrades - we went with an additional spring so when one breaks, you still have the other to help open the door. We also opted for metal rollers to increase longevity and reliability. They followed up with a letter a couple of days later to check on us. Very professional!

These folks have always been very, very quick to respond - either same day or the next day they were open. I have had to use them several times over the years and I would rather they do it right (rather than me do it poorly).

There work has always been quick and top notch. They are not the least expensive, but not the most expensive either. You get what you pay for and I think this is the case.

I will definitely use them again.

We called Stars and Stripes on a Thursday morning after one of the springs on our garage door broke. He gave us the chioce of two times the same day they could come out and look at the broken spring. They came out promptly at the given time and called beforehand to tell us they were on their way. I requested that they replace all of the springs on both of our doors as they were both the same age and I'm sure the others would break eventually. The job took about two hours which is exactly what they estimated. They were very courtious and professional. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone.

Had trouble getting another provider to return calls for the job. Found Stars and Stripes on Angie's List and called. They came that afternoon. Work was done quickly and described accurately beforehand. Friendly service. Garage door seems to be opening and closing much more smoothly, now. Will use their service again in the future.

everything was amazing until I got a follow up call the next day. I called on Sunday. they called back on Monday morning and a tech was there by 0830. he was professional and courteous and very good and what he did. he replaced a broken torsion spring with two new ones and installed a complete new opener system at my request and he did it very well. the job didn't take long at all. we had some trouble with my debit card as I've just returned from a tour in Iraq so my card has been getting declined pretty regularly. I asked if I could write a check and he said that would be fine. I got a call the following morning from the company and the person who called made it a point to tell me that the nice guy who had taken my check had been reprimanded for not handling my transaction properly which made me feel guilty even though I did nothing wrong and then he proceeded to insinuate that perhaps I didn't have the money in the account. he even asked my is this check going to clear because if the debit card was declined then I must not have money. I thought that everyone knew that some banks limit your debit purchased with a daily dollar amount. I was offended.

I called and informed them of my issue. He said he could have someone out today. They came right on time, less than 30 min, he was all finished. He also gave me useful info on how to lube the rollers.

They were pleasant from the time I called them through service. I purchased this house with two installed garage door openers. One of the openers did not work and the previous sellers didn't leave any remotes. They showed up when the supposed to and did a good job.

Woderfully well. This company is A+ in my book. They take up can goods for the food bank and even take a buck off your ticket for a can given! Communtiy spirit!

I called Stars and Stripes this morning because my garage door would not close. They arrived right on time today and had it repaired within an hour. They got the cable back on track and adjusted the tracks so the wheels no longer come loose, replaced the wheels, and did a general service. They also replaced the bulbs in the overhead light and oiled the other door, without increasing the price. The door works better now than it has in the past 12 years. Very positive experience.

We had a terrific experience with Stars and Stripes. One of the springs on our garage door broke on Sunday, 11/22/09. After reading the reviews on Angie's List, we called Monday to book an appointment. The very personable gentleman who answered the phone let us know who would be coming and what their vehicle looked like. Jerry came the next day, called before he came and arrived exactly on time. He was friendly, very thorough and very knowledgeable. After looking at our door and its broken spring, he said that he thought he had the correct replacement springs on his truck and that we wouldn't have to replace the door. He did have the parts on his truck and was able to replace both springs, install safety cables to contain the springs if they ever break, and do routine maintenance on the door opener in just over an hour. Our door works better than it has in the 13 years that we've owned the house! We'll definitely call Stars and Stripes again for any garage door needs and won't hesitate to recommend them to friends.

They came out the same day I called. They were on time. The price was moderate.

From start to finish the process was very professional. I called Greg after hours and he returned my call that evening. I missed his initial call and he called first thing the following morning. We set an appointment and informed me who would come to the house, what his truck would look like and what time he would be there. Jerry was on time and finished the job on time. I was able to get this done during my lunch break from work. Overall, I am very pleased with Stars and Stripes and will use them again and highly recommend them.

I called in the morning and was given a choice of three different time slots the same day. The service man called me 45 mins. before he expected to arrive to give me time to come home from work to meet him. He was very punctual, professional and personable. He explained what needed to be done and why, made recommendations and once I had decided on the repairs, he got right to work, worked quickly and did a great job!

Perfect. On time. Repairman careful to explain how new opener worked. Professional.

They are very easy to deal with. They got the job done and fixed the minor issue that did arise with the alignment of the sensor lights. I definitely will continue to use this company in the future.

They were very prompt, they were out here the same day that I called. They were very friendly and really did a lot of great work very quickly, the whole nine yards.
