These two have very big hearts and take a lot of pride in their work, giving the consumer the best possible experience to enjoy the final product and completed project. Their pricing for project cost never changed from the original quote. With over 40 years in the field Heather’s professionalism and expertise will not disappoint. Heather and Racheal turned our kitchen, and two bathrooms into show rooms. They did not disappoint and surpassed our expectations. They were very professional and quite the perfectionists. Jobs were completed in a timely manner and the results were beautiful. I would definitely hire them again given the need.

Great job! My husband and I had talked about upgrading our kitchen, but not sure what to do. Not to worry. We contacted Heather, and she came over to assist us. She made suggestions that we hadn't even considered, and we gave her the go ahead. She and Rachel transformed a 1970's kitchen into a beautiful 2022 kitchen. They made suggestions that we would never have thought of. They utilized some wasted space by adding drawers and doors to places.. They painted, altered and performed miracles in our kitchen. They made sure we understood what they were doing, and that they understood what we wanted. They kept us informed the whole time of what to expect and of any additional expenses as we continually added to what we had originally wanted. The cost was very reasonable to redo our whole kitchen. They added self-closing hinges and easy close doors and drawers. They painted all of the walls as well as doors, door frames and crown moulding. Heather and Rachel were very friendly and easy to work with. As we told them we don't like our kitchen. We love our kitchen. In other words, they performed miracles. We would absolutely recommend them to any of our friends and family. Thank you so much Heather and Rachel.

Amazing! Heather is a perfectionist and thought of every detail. The paint job is flawless. She cleaned up every night so we could continued to use our kitchen during the process.

This was an excellent experience!! Communication was excellent and timely. Timeline was set up and completed with in time. The finish on my cabinets is smooth and essentially flawless. New hardware and hinges are wonderful. Heather installed a cabinet of drawers we had purchased to replace our dishwasher (never used) and the placement is seamless, looks like it was there originally. Great job. Filled in the flooring where there was a gap and placed fresh molding. Took down a half wall on the counter to give me more counter top surface area. I would hire them again if I needed. They were great to work with.

Heather was very attentive through the entire process. We wanted our cabinets refaced, and were replacing a couple appliances and were having difficulty getting other contractors to return our calls or provide an estimate. It seems most remodelers want to gut your entire kitchen and start from scratch, which is costly, not to mention time consuming. Heather returned our call right away, showed up on time, provided a detailed estimate, and timeline to complete the project. Our kitchen is large so her time estimate to complete our kitchen remodel was 10-14 days, and the project was completed on time. Heather is indeed an artisan! She has an abundance of experience and knowledge. She has an “eye” for nuances of color and helped us choose the best door color and style to match our existing granite countertop that we didn’t want to replace. Her attention to detail is amazing. Heather not only replaced all our cabinet doors and drawers, she re configured cabinets to accommodate new appliances, converted a stack of drawers to a pull out trash/recycle center, moved a poorly placed warming drawer, reconfigured drawers to line up for a more esthetic appearance, and created a new cabinet panel for our cabinet depth refrigerator. Heather and her assistant Rachel work together very efficiently and clean up thoroughly at the end of every work day. We were actually able to cook and use our kitchen while this remodel was in progress. Heather also knows many other craftsmen and helped us find someone to raise and repair our granite countertop that had settled in one area, as well as remove a large hanging ineffective range hood over our island cooktop. We couldn’t be happier with our cabinets and have received many compliments! We plan to have Heather and Rachel reface and re door our bathroom cabinets in the near future. An added bonus: Heather and Rachel love dogs and immediately befriended our 2 rescues. This was the first time we didn’t have to keep our dogs closed up in a different room all day while the project was completed.

Attached photos are before and after. My dated, dreary kitchen was transformed into a bright, modern work space. Heather pays attention to detail and is an excellent craftsperson.

Heather is the best!!!!! I am a perfectionist and I notice all details. Heather is the same way. She know what she is doing. If something comes up she can’t handle she always knows who to call. I recommended her to my best friend and she just completed her kitchen cabinets as well. My friend is very happy and satisfied with Heather work. I would definitely use Heather again and again.

The final phase of our kitchen remodel is completed. We are absolutely thrilled with how it turned out. As you can see by the before and after pics, Heather Cox, Artisan is a true pro! We found Heather and Rachel to be responsible, responsive and trustworthy. Her work reflects a high degree of attention to detail. It looks like a brand new kitchen. She will definitely be our first choice for future home projects. We really couldn't be more pleased!

Heather did a wonderful job on our cabinets and remodeling our kitchen! She took the time to discuss options with us and make recommendations we had not thought of. Heather Cox listened carefully, really gave the job some thought, emailed a detailed quote within a week. I wanted to keep my budget reasonable; her laminates look as good as granite, which cut the counter top cost in half. She kept me informed about when ordered materials would arrive and what she would be doing each day so I always knew what to expect. Heather showed up when planned and worked efficiently. She built a counter top and cabinet between the fridge and the stove. Between the other side of the stove and the wall, she built shelves about a foot square and about 5 ft 6 in tall with the stove-side shelf wall built out only half way so I could take things from the shelves easily when cooking. She built a two-shelf cabinet that rests on top of my fridge; a cabinet built into the wall would have been less versatile if I ever wanted to buy a bigger fridge. She even notched the bottom so it fit over a protruding part of the fridge's top surface, and that way the cabinet could stay close to the fridge's front. That kind of thing matters if you're short like me. She did a little revision on my existing cabinets, painted them, replaced the old doors and put new handles on them. Heather Cox, Artisan transformed my tiny kitchen into a beautiful and efficient place. I highly recommend her!

Heather is very engaging and helped us in our decision making with her expertise. So type of wood, grains, stains, countertops and sinks were all discussed with her and her input was extremely helpful. We recently had the pleasure of using Heather Cox refinish our kitchen cabinets. As in the past she listened to what we desired to have done, and made suggestions as to how we could accomplish what we desired. The finished product turned out exactly as we desired, and was within the timeframe she quoted, and cost estimate she gave us. We would suggest hiring her if you want a highly qualified professional.

My experience with them was good. They were very nice and polite. They cleaned up after themselves.

The doors on my kitchen and bathroom cabinets looked terrible but the cabinets themselves were fine. Putting new doors on instead of replacing them seemed the sensible solution.
Heather got the job because of her professionalism and obvious knowledge of what the job would entail and her price was about $2,000 less then the other companies I interviewed. She made some great suggestions that made the kitchen look even better, such as crown moldings and replacing the old range hood as well as soft close hinges.
She worked with my schedule and was super cooperative. As the job started, she helped me unload the contents of the cabinets. Heather works real hard and is very skilled. I believe that doing a great job that pleases the customer and her own standards is her priority. Every day she cleaned up any mess before she left and of course cleaned up totally on the final day.
I have three house dogs...one is over active, one is a sweet beagle, and one is a very big elderly lab. She was so kind to all the dogs, even taking Tar, the old lab, for walks. (I am mobility impaired and unable to walk him.)
The job turned out great...the kitchen and both bathrooms look like brand new. I am delighted with the job and would recommend Heather to anyone. She is definitely honest and trustworthy a true Artisan.

The work was done as Heather outlined and in the timeframe discussed. Everything was done neatly with no cleanup required after she was done.

We hiredHeather Cox Artisan to repaint our kitchen cabinets. The quality work she did for us was outstanding. She wasn’t satisfied with okay, it had to be great. She didn’t try to nickel and dime us to death, she bid the job and completed it for the bid price. There were some additional things that we had her do for which we paid extra, but her pricing for that work was extremely fair. We would hire her again in a heartbeat.
When we first talked with Heather she recommended replacing the drawers in our cabinets and adding soft closers to both the drawers and the cabinets. At first we were reluctant to do that because of the additional cost, but in the end decided that it would be in our best interest to do those things. Because she was well into the project when we made that change it extended the amount of time that the project took. It was not Heather’s fault that it took additional time, because we could’ve made that decision upfront when she could’ve ordered all the materials and save the time. That being said, her advice should’ve been followed right out front. The soft closers to the cabinet doors and drawers, as well as replacing the drawer boxes, will definitely add to the value of our house when we sell the house at sometime in the future.

Heather was nothing short of amazing! On time, a written estimate and her workmanship was truly artistic!! I would have given her an A++++ if I could! I will certainly recommend her to all my friends and to Angie's list. She is really an "artisan!" She is also a really great person. I would hire her again in a heart beat.
