"The call to my insurance company was very simple and only took about 10 minutes. The technician who installed my glass was very professional and friendly. They came to replace my windshield at my work that way I did not have to be inconvenienced. I recommend Family Auto Glass to anyone who needs a windshield replaced."

"Troy showed up on time and the date that we scheduled. He was professional, knew the product well and keep me informed throughout the whole process. I would definitely use him and his company again. Also, was happy with the price vs quality."

"I didn?t have them do the work. I felt that they were very over priced. It was about $10000 worth of work. They were very nice when they came out to the house, but I just felt that they wanted too much money for the product. They were punctual, as they came out on time. They were responsive and were very professional too. I probably might not use their services again."

Glass block windows aren’t fire hazards; fire-rated glass block windows can increase your home’s fire safety. Modern glass blocks are made with materials that can resist high temperatures and prevent fire spread. Most offer a 45-minute fire rating, while some increase it to two hours. Compared to the typical 20 to 90 minute rating for a double-pane window, glass block can increase your home’s safety in the event of a fire.

Luckily, glass block windows need minimal maintenance. Other than regular cleaning, the only maintenance involved in having a glass block window is inspecting for cracks every year and applying sealer to the mortar joints if the blocks are set in masonry mortar.
