"Thank you Marble and Granite Pros! You really are PRO's!! Template was made quickly and without any fuss on the scheduled day. On the, scheduled, day of installation, Matt and Chigo arrived at 9:15 and got right to work. Paper on the floor and plastic sheeting put up to help keep the dust down. They disconnected all of the existing outlets and sink before removing the old granite. They took down the existing bar height to counter height and moved the outlets to were we wanted them. Then they brought in the new counter tops. Once the counter tops were installed, then the new pop-up outlet was installed along with the other moved outlets. The holes for the faucet, soap dispenser and the button for the garbage disposal were then cut. By then the plumber arrived and hooked up all of the plumbing. Matt and Chigo cleaned everything up and were out the door by 5:30! ALL IN ONE DAY!!! We are extremely happy with the new look of our kitchen and the job that was done. Will use them for any future jobs, for sure. We would recommend them without hesitation!!"

"He got in contact with me right away! Quoted me a very reasonable price . Showed up on time the following day. He and his wife were very professional helpful and knowledgeable. I needed a very old sink stuck into my granite countertop. He removed it without damaging my countertop! Removing the granite from my granite countertop enough to fit my new sink in and installed it perfectly! I really didn’t think it could be done ."

"Noel and Dario were very responsive and worked very well together. They have me exactly what I wanted and had some creative ideas for what to do with excess quartz since I had to buy 2 slabs and only needed 1 1/2. They quoted me a fabulous price, and didn't nickel and fine me for minor changes or additions. I would use then again anytime and recommend them in a heartbeat."

"Luis is a very skilled professional. He came on time, is very courteous, worked very diligently and the finished product is very nice.. . He polished my white marble floor and changed the grout. That was the most delicate and detailed jobs and he did it beautifully. I highly recommend Luis for polishing floors."

"Jason, the owner, agreed to take on my small project and fit me into his schedule. His crew, Alex and Jesus, arrived on time and got to work removing two quartz windowsills that were impending a kitchen backsplash replacement. I'm very pleased with their knowledge and expertise, completing the job in just 15 minutes. Would highly recommend."

Marble and Granite questions, answered by experts

Beyond landscaping, limestone has multiple uses. For example, there are multiple pros and cons to limestone countertops, such as a lower cost compared to other types of stone and heat resistance. Limestone is also a key ingredient in limewash, a type of paint with a chalky texture. Other uses for limestone include siding, retaining walls, and mixed into cement.

Use a pH-balanced cleaner, avoid abrasive materials, and reseal porous stones like granite annually to maintain durability.

The frequency for sealing marble countertops depends on several factors, including the quality and color of the stone, the type of sealant used, and the amount of traffic the surface receives. Marble has a porous surface that requires sealing to maintain its shine and resist scratches. As a general rule, you should seal countertops at least once a year. However, for heavily used surfaces, like those in a busy kitchen or family bathroom, you may need to reseal them every three to six months. Conversely, countertops in a rarely used guest bathroom might only need resealing every few years.

One of Caesarstone® countertops' main advantages is that they’re resistant to scratching, cracking, and staining. Of course, like any countertop material, nothing is 100% guaranteed, and homeowners should refrain from using knives or other sharp objects directly on the countertop. Yet, homeowners can rest assured that Caesarstone® is one of the most durable countertop options.

Extensive chips and cracks may require a full replacement of the countertop. The cost to install a new countertop is around $3,100 on average. But, if the damaged area is relatively small, you may want to consider repairing it yourself or calling in a qualified professional. Depending on the material, some epoxy and sandpaper may do the trick. Or you can consider painting laminate countertops or refinishing butcher block countertops.
