"Do Not Do Not get windows from this company.I signed my contract on 1/28/2022 the salesman was Bojan very nice man, told me I would have an excellent crew and experience with company. WRONG windows were installed on 9/15/22.Well all the screens on windows did not fit properly screens sag at top or at sides.4 Widows were left with noscreens.I was told someone would be out with new screens, company came twice with screens still not fitting properly.I was then told that warranty with paradise is up and I have to contact softlite for screen replacment screen.I contact softlite they tell me I have to contact flexscreen. So I contact flexscreen, and I go back and forth for about a year. I hear from flex screen paradise should get them since never got a first screen on window,So Finally flex screen gives in because they are going back and forth with safelite and paradise. But here is the kicker I have to pay 0 to 125.00 dollars for shipping per screen. So in reality I have to pay to ship screen I never recieved. Now that brings us to today.I have 4 windows that leak. stay away they talk a good game. And side note if their are any problems workers will complain about the drive and hoe far you are especially if you live in Port Charlotte, South Gulf Cove, Rotonda Area. Your Castle Home Inspections Inc is owned and operated by a father and son team who are originally from Vermont with over 50 years of experience building houses. We are certified through InterNACHI and fully licensed and insured in the state of Florida. Some of the most common inspections we perform are Residential Home inspections for home buyers and sellers, Wind Mitigation Inspections, and Four Point Inspections. Even with Newly Constructed homes, there are mistakes and deficiencies, as well as safety hazards that were overlooked or forgotten to be corrected before closing. A Wind Mitigation Inspection is a great way to help lower the cost of your homeowner's insurance premiums. During this inspection, we look at how well the house can withstand damages brought on by windstorms like hurricanes. If you’re changing companies for your homeowners insurance or renewing your current policy, they will likely require a Four Point Inspection. This inspection will tell them the condition and the remaining life expectancy in the four major systems of the house. Which are; the Roof, the Plumbing, the Electrical System, and the HVAC system. Call us to discuss and schedule your inspection today. (727) 766-5767 or (941) 726-3425

"Your Castle Home Inspections, a father-son team, did a wind mitigation inspection for me when I replaced the roof of my house. I found them to be personable, professional, punctual & thorough. Within a couple of days of the inspection, I received a complete report (including detailed, supporting pictures) of the findings. I was so impressed with this company that I hired them again when I found I needed a “4 Point Inspection” for my homeowner’s insurance. My appointment was scheduled within days, & I was kept apprised of their arrival which turned out to be earlier than scheduled. Both Doug & Seth came & performed the same quality of inspection that I had had previously. Both men were knowledgeable & professional & were obviously committed to what they do. I would definitely hire Your Castle Home Inspections again should the need arise & highly recommend them to anyone needing any type of home inspection."

We're a small construction business serving the Tampa Bay Area since 2006. We have 5 state certified construction licenses to assist our clients in their projects. We are a one stop construction full service company. We are certified general contractor, roofing, plumbing, electrical and mechanical contractor. Licensed, bonded and insured.

"I had a complete gut of my condo due to water damage coming from the unit above mine. I called One Call, and the owner came out immediately. He gave me an estimate the same day and I accepted it. I have more than one property and have had to employ different contractors over the years. My experience with most of the folks doing construction has always been less than pleasant. Most of the time I regretted not going to law school just to deal with these people. Anyway, I found One Call on Angles List and for the first time ever, Will the owner of One Call made it as painless as was possible for me. He was there every day for more than three weeks checking on the work. I didn't have to push, cajole, or scream. This job got done fast I'm happy for a change dealing with something like this. I recommend Will and his team. He did it right for me."

Roofing questions, answered by experts

The cost to replace your roof is often significantly more expensive than the cost to repair it. On average, homeowners will spend between $5,890 and $12,800 to replace a roof. The size of the roof, the roof’s pitch, and the number of stories the house has will significantly affect the overall cost. You can expect to spend upwards of $46,000 for large, high-end roofs.

This all depends upon size, type and complexity of the actual sloped areas of the roof.  An accurate estimate with detailed lists of covered and additional items is imperative when purchasing and protecting yourself during the process.

Answered by Scott Perkins at Strive Roofing in Mesa, AZ on 01/07/25

The average roof replacement in Southeast Wisconsin is $12,000. They usually range between $8,000 and up to $24,000.

$9,500 to $23,000.

Answered by David Wetzel at Rooftek in Portland, OR on 01/10/25

Roofing is a highly skilled and labor-intensive trade. Because of this, you can expect to pay an average of $2 per square foot for your roofing professional. Roofing labor costs generally make up about 60% of the overall project cost.

Answered by Angi Experts

Typical roofing repairs cost between $380 and $1,800 on average. However, most homeowners spend approximately $1,100 on a roofing repair project. The size of the roof, the extent of the damage, and the type of project all impact the final cost. External factors like product availability and supply chain issues may also affect the price.

Projects like repairing damaged gutters will only be around $180 to $560, whereas repairing a sagging roof will be a higher expense at $1,500 to $7,000

Roof repairs start at around $700.00 and go up from there.  There are many significant factors that come into play, and each customer's needs will rarely be the same.

All damage is different. I would recommend getting three quotes broken down by labor and materials.

Answered by Art Eckert at CASA Inspect in Osprey, FL on 01/08/25

Repair costs in this area are around $1,500.

Answered by Fidel Cruz at C39 Roofing in San Marcos, CA on 01/07/25

Repair costs are affected by geographic location such as ice & water underlayment requirements in the North and hurricane durability requirements in the Southeast.  Other things that affect the cost are quality of materials, layers of tear-off, condition of the decking, and the style and pitch of your roof.  Ask contractors to explain their price if they are higher, they are likely being more honest about what the replacement requires.

Answered by Michael E. Voelker at ProCrafters Roofing in Allison, IA on 01/06/25

Although not every state issues licenses for roofing pros, it's important to check with your county or city if hiring a licensed roofing contractor is necessary.

Hiring an unlicensed roofer might result in low-quality work and potential legal issues if an accident happens. It’s always best to check the qualifications and licenses of your roofer before they begin a project.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Before hiring a roofing contractor to work on your project, there are a few things you will want to ask, including:

  • Do you use roofing subcontractors?

  • Do you offer a warranty?

  • Do you have any references?

  • How will you clean up after the project is complete?

  • Will you remove my old or damaged roof?

How long have your crews been working with you?

Do you offer a warranty?

Do you have any references?

How will you clean up after the project is complete?

Will you remove my old or damaged roof?

Answered by Scott A Margiano Sr. at Calvary Remodeling LLC in Shelton, CT on 01/09/25

How long should this product last in my area and does the manufacturer stand behind the product for that length of time?

What is the difference between manufacturer and contractor warranty?

Do you have any references?

Answered by Scott Perkins at Strive Roofing in Mesa, AZ on 01/07/25

Will you remove my old or damaged roof?

Will the roof you install be warrantied against black streaks?

Will the roof you install last as long as the warranty? Or will it only last about half as long?

Answered by Tracy Badra at Community Construction in Lansing, MI on 01/07/25

Does your company have multiple locations?  This will let you know if they are truly local or a large company briefly working your area after a storm.

Do you offer a workmanship warranty?  Confirm in writing the time length and details of such warranty.

Do you have quality reviews?  All roofing contractors have references of their successful jobs.  Good contractors won't have many negative reviews.

How will you protect our windows, siding and landscaping?

Will you remove my old or damaged roof?

Some disqualifying signs to look for are:

-Did the contractor cold call or knock on your door?

-Does the contractor look or talk like a salesman?

-Does the contractor have profiles on many different websites?  Poor contractors will avoid an online presence to avoid bad reviews.
