"John was wonderful. He knows construction like the seasoned pro he is. He got us through the inevitable confusions that happen with a project like this, The 3 car garage and apartment worked out better than imagined. He is easy to work with."
"I was very impressed, they did a wonderful job building our screen room. They were very professional and even finished a day ahead of schedule. Overall great experience, definitely recommend them!"
"The work was done quickly. After they finished the job, I had to have them back to fix mistakes before I paid. A week later I am still seeing things that are poorly done, such as door frame from kitchen to garage, door frame from garage to patio."
"Ron and his crew did a wonderful job. We recommend them Fully. They’re trustworthy and the quality of work is great. We love our new bathroom in the studio and are thankful for their commitment to help us get a new bathroom in our little condo. Thanks Ron you were a blessing to us."
"We have had nothing but a positive experience with Right Angle Construction Enterprises. They've exceeded our expectations, delivered on every promise and provided quality construction. This is the third builder we have worked with in Florida over the past 25 years and they are by far the best.Â"
"Excellent service. Professional - the person that gave the quote explained everything very clearly. The Installer (garage door opener and replacement of some parts on the actual door) was excellent and thorough. Tech cleaned up the wiring that was there and added some reinforcements. The previous door had not been installed very well. (Handyman special maybe?) There was an issue with the new opener kicking the breaker so I had to get an electrician our before I could use it. I went from 1/2 horse to 3/4 horse, which the electrician said I didn't I need due to size of door- 1 car small garage. I had no idea what I really "needed". I would recommend company though I think they are a bit pricey (But generally you get what you pay for.) and I maybe should have researched horse power needs before committing."
"Neal Property Management built an outdoor shower and enclosure for our family. They handled all the plumbing, the installation of the posts, the drainage, and the floor decking. They also built an outdoor sink inside the enclosure. Additionally, they replaced an out-of-code electrical line for our hot tub and got it running for us again. On every aspect of each project, they were meticulous and professional. Our family was blessed to have been able to work with them and I would highly recommend Neal Property Management for any work around your home."
"We enjoyed working with Bradford Interiors on this remodel for our home. Charles was able to take our vision for the mother in law unit and make it into reality. We are very pleased with the outcome."
" I hired Jerry of Lasting Creations, LLC to fix some structure issues that had resulted form years of settling. The home is located close to the beach. Years of salt air etc. had caused stress cracks on the front corners of the home. Jerry completely chipped back the brittle cracked stucco and reenforced it with hydrolic cement to take care of the structure cracks. He re-stuccoed the front of the home, put coins which are the square raised patterns on the corners, four in all. Around the windows he built solid concrete bands, with keys, which are diamond shaped accent pieces at the top of each window, as well as the top of the garage. I am very pleased with the results! Jerry is a hard working independent business owner, don't let the tattoos fool you. Jerry is a man of integrity. I gave him a deposit check approximately a month and a half before the job was started. He held the check until the day he physically started the job. He showed up on time, he preformed to the letter of our contract. Jerry takes pride in his craft. He may not be your cheapest bid....But keep in mind sometimes the cheap comes out expensive, especially if you have to rehire someone to come and fix shotty workmanship. I would definitely hire Jerry of Lasting Creations LLC. again in the future.
Jerry, The owner of Lasting Creations, LLC. Took my old 1977 stucco brick home and modernized it through the art of stucco. :) "
A carriage house combines garage or storage space with living space, usually in two stories, while a garage generally does not offer any living space. Carriage houses are built with plumbing, insulation, and heating and cooling systems, which are usually features not found in traditional garages. Building codes and insurance requirements greatly differ between the two types of structures, and may make it difficult to convert a garage to a carriage house.
Most heat in a garage is lost through air leaks in windows, doors, and walls. This is especially true if the walls are uninsulated, which is common in garages. Consider insulating your garage before installing a garage heater to ensure the heat it generates isn’t wasted, making it less efficient.
It’s better to build a garage than buy and install a prefabricated one. You can save money by purchasing a prefabricated metal garage kit for between $4,000 and $11,000. However, this does not include the price of labor and permits, which can account for more than half of the project cost. Building a new garage over buying a prefab garage will add more value to your home and will last longer, so it’s more cost-effective over time to build a new garage.
If you enjoy tinkering with cars, woodworking, or exercising in your garage, then a garage heater may be worth it to you. If your garage is used mainly for storage, you may opt to skip installing a garage heater. If you live somewhere with favorable weather year-round, you can probably go without one as well. But for most homeowners, a garage heater is a good investment and makes the garage a more comfortable place to spend time.
Plexiglass garage doors are a durable and less expensive alternative to garage doors, and they maintain a similar aesthetic. Other elegant types of garage doors include carriage house garage doors and stylish wooden garage doors, but these don’t offer the same look as glass, of course.
