"John was wonderful. He knows construction like the seasoned pro he is. He got us through the inevitable confusions that happen with a project like this, The 3 car garage and apartment worked out better than imagined. He is easy to work with."
"I was very impressed, they did a wonderful job building our screen room. They were very professional and even finished a day ahead of schedule. Overall great experience, definitely recommend them!"
"Jeff and his team were wonderful. I had new flooring installed, entire house painted and 2 bathrooms remodeled. Everything turned out beautifully and we are very satisfied with the quality of work. Everything was done very timely and we were kept informed of the progress and who would be coming each day. I would highly recommend this company."
"The work was done quickly. After they finished the job, I had to have them back to fix mistakes before I paid. A week later I am still seeing things that are poorly done, such as door frame from kitchen to garage, door frame from garage to patio."
"I had a project where I was doing the kitchen, my bathroom and my floors I got in contact with VNA home solutions and they were very. Professional. I had the opportunity to speak to Alejandro in the following day. He was at my house, doing a walk-through and giving me ideas and end things that he thought they were going. Look nice and classic at my house. Also he took measurements. I was impressed by the way that he was telling me things about this project. When my husband got home we spoke about it. We decide to give him the opportunity and we call him back. My husband got to meet him and he felt like he was the right person to accomplish this project. We sign a contract in one month later he complete my project from the starting day and it looks amazing. I am very happy my kids love it highly recommend."
"We have had nothing but a positive experience with Right Angle Construction Enterprises. They've exceeded our expectations, delivered on every promise and provided quality construction. This is the third builder we have worked with in Florida over the past 25 years and they are by far the best.Â"
"Excellent service. Professional - the person that gave the quote explained everything very clearly. The Installer (garage door opener and replacement of some parts on the actual door) was excellent and thorough. Tech cleaned up the wiring that was there and added some reinforcements. The previous door had not been installed very well. (Handyman special maybe?) There was an issue with the new opener kicking the breaker so I had to get an electrician our before I could use it. I went from 1/2 horse to 3/4 horse, which the electrician said I didn't I need due to size of door- 1 car small garage. I had no idea what I really "needed". I would recommend company though I think they are a bit pricey (But generally you get what you pay for.) and I maybe should have researched horse power needs before committing."

If your cement garage floor is sinking and cracking, your first step should be to call a local structural engineer to assess the problem. They can determine if it’s a minor amount of sinking related to normal settlement or if the issue is structural in nature. If you do have structural damage, the engineer or a foundation repair company that you hire will come up with a plan to fix the issue, which often consists of mudjacking for less severe issues or underpinning for more extensive problems.
On average, a garage door can last between 15 and 30 years. However, this lifespan is influenced by several factors, including the quality and material of the door, local climate conditions, and how frequently it is used and maintained.
Key factors affecting longevity include:
Material: Wooden doors can last 20 to 30 years or more, while steel doors typically last 15 to 20 years. More robust options, like triple-layer steel, can last 25 to 30 years with proper care. The number of layers in a door also contributes to its durability, with each additional layer potentially adding five years to its life.
Maintenance: Regular inspections, cleaning, and immediate repairs can significantly extend the life of your garage door.
Usage and Climate: Doors in harsh climates or those used very frequently may wear out faster.
Components: Individual parts have different lifespans. For example, automatic openers may fail sooner than the door itself without regular maintenance, and garage door springs typically need replacement every 7 to 12 years.
While the door panels are designed to last as long as the door, they should be replaced sooner if they become visibly damaged, impact the door's smooth operation, or create a security risk.
The amount of paint needed to cover a two-car garage floor depends on the surface area and the product's coverage rate. On average, a standard two-car garage floor measures 400 to 500 square feet. Coverage ranges from 100 to 200 square feet per gallon for epoxy paint, depending on the product and application method. After some quick math, you may need 2 to 5 gallons of epoxy paint with two coats to cover a two-car garage floor.
A carriage house combines garage or storage space with living space, usually in two stories, while a garage generally does not offer any living space. Carriage houses are built with plumbing, insulation, and heating and cooling systems, which are usually features not found in traditional garages. Building codes and insurance requirements greatly differ between the two types of structures, and may make it difficult to convert a garage to a carriage house.
