"I know you read this a lot & sometimes you wonder if it is true, but I never write reviews, trust me on this one! But I am forced to, as the experience I had with this company has given me hope that there are great companies out there. So, I called my long time A/C repair company & told them my A/C system was dead. They came out & told me the unit had frozen up. This also occurred 3 months before. At that time they added freon ($500) & said it was good to go. This time they told me it was frozen up but they suggested I put in a new system. I decided to get a second opinion. I called Brian at Better Heating & Cooling & the next day he came out. He told me the unit was frozen but he wanted to find out why. It took him about an hour & he proceeds to tell the cause. Since I have a 3 zone system, if one of the zones is accidentally lowered to cool at a far lower temp than the others, it will cause the system to freeze. So, Brian identified the problem but the unit needed to be replaced as the condenser had rusted out due to the leaking. He educated me & you could see he was not focused on a fast buck. Brian came back a week later with a great assistant & the two of them professionally installed the new system & also remedied the duct work. They also added 3 eco bee and 4 smart thermostats.
