"Dia and Wil did an AMAZING job on our kitchen remodel and flooring installation. We had a very specific vision for our kitchen and they brought it to life better than we could have ever imagined! The end result is absolutely beautiful ? They are extremely professional and trustworthy, which is very hard to come by. Price was very reasonable for the expert level quality of service we received. I 100% recommend them to anyone doing a home remodeling project!"

Customers say: True professional

"Our floors look incredible. We're very happy with how quickly the demo for the existing tile and installation of new tile went. There were a few bumps in the process but Dimas was very responsive in helping resolve any issues. The contractors left our house pretty messy (with dust, nails, trash) and we had to ask them to come back out a few times to clean up. Dimas ended up sending out a separate cleaning company to clean up which we were very happy with. Our biggest issue was the state they left our newly painted walls in. We had just painted our entire house before having our floors installed (in hindsight I definitely don't recommend doing things in this order) and they left them with several scrapes and dings in each room. We now have to have our entire house repainted. They didn't really take responsibility for the condition of the walls and even said it wasn't their fault. For those of you who have just painted or don't plan on repainting after flooring installation, I'd caution you with using this company. Otherwise, they did a great job with our floors."

"I’ve met Carlos while he was doing a remodel at my customer’s house. Since then we have added LeBirch Development to our team. He has been able to prove over and over again that no job is to big. He has finished to completion every job on a timely matter that we can keep up with him and his crew. He is puntual and on top of his game. He knows everything that’s is going in his jobs and will harass you to get what he needs to not fall behind. I’ve been in this business for over 17 years and met many contractors I truly can tell you that if you want a job done, professional, timely and from the what I hear affordable you can trust Lebirch Development and Construction ask for Carlos Neira. "Working with this team on both a boat dock inside the home project, I found them extremely professional from the office staff/ workers project leader. They took all the time I needed to fully explain my ideas and then they made several additional recommendations (not in a pushy way) to consider to help ensure the final project was all that I expected. As the project progressed I always felt I was being updated and fully understanding each step. In many projects, unexpected issues sometimes arise but Richard took the time to explain them and let me so I could make any changes I felt were needed or could wait until another project. In the end, everything was far beyond my expectations and within budget. I fully plan to use them again have highly recommended them to all my friends and to you this review reader also."

"They were wonderful. They cleaned up after themselves along the way and didn't just wait until the end, and when you cut through walls and stuff, a supervisor checked along the way to make sure everything was good. Everything was coming out fine. It was really a great experience to work with this company."

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

You can draw your own house plans using three-dimensional modeling software, but in most cases, you’ll need an architect to draw up the final plans. Architects understand local building regulations and requirements, so their plans will be necessary for getting permits approved, and they’ll also ensure your home is structurally sound. DIY house plans can be a good place to start to help visualize your project, but you should always defer to a professional before trying to proceed with the project.

Designing a building takes 2-6 months, depending on project size, required permits, and revisions.

While you will always work with a team of professionals at some point during your home build, homeowners with experience can take on some part of the process. Manage the initial brainstorm, brief writeup, and floor layout phase with minimal assistance before contacting a general contractor. And while you can purchase stock blueprints for some home designs, it's always best to speak with professionals when choosing one ideal for your property.

The longest part of building a custom home is the design phase. It takes multiple professionals and a ton of work to bring your vision for your dream home to life while sticking to a homebuilding budget and also ensuring everything is built to code. Expect the design phase for a custom home build to take six months to a year.

An architect is usually involved in the process of determining the layout and structural features and requirements of the home itself, taking into account the local codes, climate, and materials needed to make the home structurally sound. Architects may communicate more with contractors and subcontractors throughout the building process. In comparison to architects, interior designers typically focus on the aesthetics of a home interior and possibly exterior, helping the homeowner decide on color schemes, textures, and materials to incorporate into the design.
