In 2015 Chris Teel acquired minority ownership once again reaffirming our belief of keeping the “family” in family business. Chris currently qualifies The Solar Guys with a Florida Certified Building Contractor License (CBC1260615), Certified Roofing Contractor License (CCC1330841), & Certified Solar License (CVC57042). In November 2015 The Solar Guy Our territory includes Alachua, Marion, Citrus, as well as Lake and Sumter counties. In May 2010 The Solar Guys acquired the Orlando market as part of our service area. This includes Flagler, Volusia, Seminole, Orange and Osceola counties. Further expansion occurred with the acquisition of Pasco and Hernando counties in October of 2010.
