"The 2 young men who cleaned out tile & floor were polite & professional. They did an amazing job, wr have about 1200 sq ft of tile floors...they worked all day & when finished I wS speechless at how beautiful the tile looked...like brand new. Caulk goes in corners or where two different materials meet (like where the bathtub meets the tile) to create a waterproof seal. However, they are not interchangeable—you shouldn't use caulk to adhere tile and shouldn’t use mortar if you need a waterproof seal.

You cannot tile directly over hot mop waterproofing because tile requires a smooth, solid surface to adhere properly.
