Major Home Repair (General Contractor)
We hired Joe to convert our wood burning fireplace to an LED Electric fireplace and to install power for our TV above the fireplace. Joe did an amazing job. He walked us through the process every step of the way. He was extremely professional, prompt and he prayed with ve the job and our home prior to starting the job. We highly recommend him for any work you are looking forward to getting done on your home.

Mr.Somerville, through the 3 month complete demo-to-reno of a mobile home, always informed us by text and cell of progress & materials selections. Joe provided an estimate & broke the cost of labor and materials into 3 payments. When we agreed to an addendum, the work increased the value of the project. We have to express our satisfaction with the remodel of floors, walls, ceilings, kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms, even new skirting around the bottom. His shower and tub tile work looks gorgeous. Kitchen cabinets and counters were beautifully installed. Initially, I called Somerville because his Deltona location made more sense than hiring someone who had to drive from Orlando. We are beyond satisfied with this large scale remodel.

Joe at Somerville Construction did a fantastic job remodeling our master bath. He handled all aspects of the work -- including demo and removal of our old, rotting tub and shower walls as well as floor tile, and then installing the proper, moisture-resistant wallboard, building a half-wall and shower seat, laying tile on walls and floor (where his precision was very much appreciated), installing fixtures, and even installing a heavy clawfoot tub. Joe also removed some old, outdated cabinetry in our family room and built a custom entertainment wall, exactly to my specs. Lastly, Joe repaired and painted some outdoor wood columns that had rotted. Joe is amazing. He is also the fastest, yet most precise worker I've ever seen! Most of all, I want to say what a pleasure Joe was to work with. He had a lot of energy, and was willing to make changes as the job evolved. His main concern seemed to be making sure everything was done correctly and that we were happy with the results. He also made sure everything was tidy as he left the job each day. I highly recommend this company, and Joe will be the first person I call in the future.

The remodel work went very well. Joe was very accommodating with our wish-list, and always made suggestions to make a design really pop, using today’s latest tiles and modern fixtures. We asked for some rather unique work, which he performed without hesitation. We will hire him again for our kitchen remodel when that times comes.

Very professional. Always showed up on time. Excellent work on a project other contractors were afraid to touch. Was not thrown by changes made by the client. Went above and beyond. Views this as his art, and it shows!! Very meticulous. We have worked with probably 40 contractors in our lifetime and Joe was the best one yet. Would recommend Joe without hesitation.

Joe from Somerville Construction provided an amazing service while installing the hardwood flooring at our home.
We needed 1,250 square feet of hardwood flooring installed. He helped remove the thinset from the original tile flooring which was very difficult. He then began to install our flooring. The flooring we chose had 3 different width planks and 10 different lengths which made the installation more complex. You can definitely tell he has years of experience doing this type of work because the final work was of the highest quality.
He also values his clients time and works at a fast, but careful pace to ensure that the work is done in a timely manner.
I highly recommend him for any type of home remodeling type of work. You will receive professional, friendly and the highest quality work.
