"Installer Eric showed up on time.  Took the time to explain how the system worked and what we could expect.  Consulted with us on the placement of the system and manner of installation. Completed installation in about two hours.  Provided a complete explanation of the systems controls and warranty,  when to add salt, when to flush out salt tank, what to do after a power outage and when system service would be needed again.  Eric did an excellent job and we are very pleased with the results.  Water no longer smells and the water from the tap tastes fine.

"My experience with Mark Hurm and Co LLC Company was good. They were very thorough. They did what they said they would do. I paid them $9000 out which $2000 is going to be rebated, part from the manufacturer and part from the local utility. My overall experience with the install was excellent. I would absolutely work with them again."

"Joe from JMS Drain Services was my service technician who arrived well within the window scheduled service time. Joe came in, inspected the sink to determine how to resolve my issue, took out the tool (snake apparatus) to clear the sink, and departed my premises within 15 minutes. I was pleased he resolved my clogged sink so quickly so I could rest after a night's work. Thank you again, Joe."

"We decided to change our traditional shower door to a frame-less shower door.  Tom and his buddy took the old door off and installed the new door for us.  The project was completed in one day.

We also decided to add a utility sink in the laundry room.  Tom and his buddy did the plumbing work, built a cover board to hide the pipes, drilled a hole on the work station for the sink and installed the sink.  This project was completed in three days.  The result is great.  We are very happy with the work.

Tom is very professional and nice.  He explains things clearly and his price is very reasonable.  He cleans the space after the work is done.  If any problem happens, he comes over and fixes the problems immediately. All Tom's work has one-year warranty. "

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

The cost depends on the parts, labor, extent of damage, and whether extensive plumbing modifications are required. Typical repairs cost $150-$300.

Install the sink between 30 inches and 34 inches away from the floor. However, this height could be adjusted accordingly for particularly tall or short residents. To accommodate wheelchair users, the vanity should leave a space underneath that is at least 29 inches tall, 30 inches wide, and 25 inches deep.

The standard kitchen sink size is typically 22 inches by 30 inches. However, kitchen sinks are available in a wide range of sizes to fit different kitchens, commonly from 25 to 39 inches long, though you can find even larger or custom sizes. When choosing a replacement, the easiest option is to select a sink that matches your existing one's dimensions. If you decide to install a larger sink, you will need to enlarge the cutout in your countertop; be sure to use the template that comes with the new sink to ensure a proper fit. Installing a smaller sink can be more complex, as it may require replacing the entire countertop.

Due to the exposed plumbing, pedestal sinks are more challenging to install than traditional closed vanities. Pedestal sinks may also require additional floor and wall support or demolition. However, if you have the correct plumbing in place, then installing a pedestal sink is pretty straightforward and can be completed in a day. However, it’s best to hire a professional sink installer to ensure it’s done correctly.

The cost varies from $200 to $1,500, depending on whether it’s a basic replacement, repair, or a full sink and plumbing upgrade.
