His grandsons, wife, and several craftsman with decades of loyal experience, and state of the art heavy duty equipment, make for the highest quality well-oiled in and out operation. Oh they know what they’re doing all right. The owners are hands on—Sr. will drive a compactor while Jr. rakes hot asphalt with his shirt off. Their work ethic is a thing of beauty. When afterward I pointed out a small area that I wished we’d approached differently, Ed Sr. eagerly insisted on returning and blended hot asphalt to suit my preference at no additional charge. I've seen them pave - after they grade, they will even go out with a string & a line; so, you can actually the fall (slant) line: they don't only rely on the modern laser technology.
