"Less than 5 years ago, I spent in excess of $10,000 to have a new unit installed with a 10 year warranty. I should have seen the red flags from the very beginning. The sales representative told us additional vents would be installed and when the installation crew showed up, that did not happen. Fast forward to the present and I am now on my 4th phone call for an appointment this season, 3 days so far of not being able to work as I waited for a technician to come diagnose the problem. The 3rd. tech came last night and indicated that the work the other tech did was not for the root of the problem. (I was told in front of witnesses that the work needed to be done, was not covered under warranty, would cost me $367 and would fix my issues)In fact, the 3rd tech only made the issue worse by leaving our attic return unscrewed and overfilling our unit with Freon that the 4th tech had to remove from our system. Upon leaving last night I was told that everything was corrected. Today - my home is slowly creeping up in temperature (presently 80 degrees inside, while set to 72). The company keeps trying to sell me a "maintenance plan" and I keep reiterating to EVERY one who pushes it that we have been getting tune ups/cleanings elsewhere and will only use them for warranty issues since we have had NOTHING but problems with them."

"At the time I made the appointment I told I could pay by credit card however after they were done I was told I had to pay by check or cash. I called the following day to express my displeasure and to point out that not everyone has an extra $325.00 available at any given time. I spoke with one of the owners. He refused to even acknowledge they were in the wrong and instead made excuses as to why his employee couldnâ t use my WiFi to accept the credit card payment. "Done Wrong Plumbing - Buyer beware. I had them do work at my 85 year old mother's house. Always ask them for a detailed estimate in advance with hourly rate, time estimate and cost for parts when applicable. They repaired a leak under the master stall shower and when completed the floor of the shower now flexes and makes loud noise both in the shower and throughout the first floor of the house. This was not happening prior to their work. When I addressed the issue they sent out a rude tech who said if it is not leaking then it is not their problem. They charged $892 to put a fernco rubber boot on and cut a hole in the drywall to access. Invoice stated $128 to cut the drywall and not replace and $764 for plumbing. I asked for hourly rate and they refused to provide. Believe me you will "breath much easier" by choosing an ethical and better qualified plumber. You have been warned."

There are several signs that your well pump’s pressure switch isn’t working as it should. For instance, if your pump runs continuously, produces weak water pressure, or doesn’t turn on at all, you may have a bad switch. Another common question is, what pressure should your well tank be set at? The standard rule of thumb is to set your well tank’s pressure at 2 psi below the cut-on point of your pressure switch. So if your well is set up for a high cycle of 40/60 psi, your pressure should be set to 38 psi. If you use a low setting of 30/50 psi, you would set the pressure to 28 psi.

There are several common causes of low water pressure in your sprinkler system, including clogged sprinkler heads and issues with your backflow preventer valve. Start by inspecting and cleaning your sprinkler heads to ensure they’re in working order and there aren’t any blockages. Then, check your backflow preventer valve to ensure it’s open.
