Late on a Friday, we experienced a leaking water line behind the fridge- and the shutoff valve was broken. Sussex plumbing promised to come out, showed up on time, promptly fixed the leak and did a quick repair on the shutoff valve. They planned to come out the day before we were to get a new refrigerator to replace the faulty valve and did not charge for this urgent repair at that time. Instead Sam told us Cindy would give us a quote the following Monday that would include the urgent repair and the work required for the replacement valve. Sam showed up on time, did a fantastic job, and was very professional. The price for both jobs was extremely reasonable. We will never use a different plumber for any plumbing job we need done. Thank you for the great work!

He was here on time, and was very up and down with me. I contacted other roofers but they weren't honest with me. They missed the appointment! I gave him a little extra for all the good work.

Tony of Sussex Plumbing gave us excellent service and we will call Tony for our future plumbing needs. He not only corrected the problems and extended the water valves from the wall, Tony also explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. We secured bids from several plumbers.  Sussex Plumbing provided the most detailed estimate at a competitive price.  We selected Sussex for this work.

This was a very large project and had an additional challenge because some of the pipes were cast into the slab foundation of the house.   Routing the new pipe through the old pipe under the slab was not a good option, because it would significantly constrict the diameter of the pipes and water pressure,  Plus it there was a problem with these pipes they would not be accessible.  We agreed to reroute the pipes inconspicuously in kitchen facia and the ceiling.   

Sussex completed this large scope of work on time as scheduled.  We are very pleased with their work which was very neat and included helpful notes to help should the pipes need to be accessed as a later date.   Finally on their recommendation we replaced the water heater with a 'low boy' unit which saved a lot of space in our utility closet.

It was great. He came out quickly and was able to fix it right away. He did a great job. He's very honest. One time he came out and told me that nothing needed to be done and didn't even charge me.

From the first phone call to the office to the work getting completed, it was a pleasant experience. Tony called a few times to firm up what I wanted, and when he could deliver and install it. He called before he arrived. He kept me informed of what he was doing and answered all my questions. He even gave me names of other providers who could address other issues I was having. It is great to finally find a plumber one can rely on!

 Recently moved into new home and wanted an expert to come in to address several concerns and to provide advice on winterizing the new home. Customer service was great from the first phone call. Tony did a great job and I feel much more comfortable with knowing where everything is and how it works. Also happy that the shower and hot water heater work so much better. He goes beyond the obvious  and is very thorough. Tony is very pleasant and professional. So happy to have found a good plumber after moving to this area.

I called on Monday and Tony came by that evening to assess the situation. He called on Tuesday and said he could come by on Wednesday to do the work. He showed up and got everything working just fine. When I had a problem getting it to work (my fault, not his) he was prompt to get back to ensure things were okay. I will definitely call upon Sussex Plumbing in the future.

When the water was turned back on at our summer condo at the beach after a very cold winter, water started gushing from the roof of the carport -- a sure sign of previously frozen pipes.  This leak was identified when our son and family turned on the water during a brief visit to the condo, but they could not stay to pursue a fix.  Why they thought anyone could get to the condo immediately (140 miles from our home) is still unclear to me, but after turning off the water they left their keys to the condo in the outside shower stall -- now adding a security problem to the prior broken pipe problem.  
After checking Angie's List, we located Sussex Plumbing and arranged for them to do the work.  Unfortunately, it would be a number of days until Toni could get to our condo, as the entire town was "swimming" in newly discovered broken pipes.  In one sense, that was not a problem for us as we could not get away to go to the condo for a couple of weeks, but then there was the issue of the "not-so-hidden" keys. So Toni, this wonderful and trustworthy gentleman, decided to take his wife out to dinner and on the way to dinner that evening they went by our condo to get the keys so our home would be secure.
Toni then completed the work the next week on the day we had agreed to, called my husband to confirm what work was accomplished and suggested that we install additional insulation, and then sent us a detailed invoice, that we could pay via credit card. Further, Toni left the keys at an agreed upon location INSIDE the condo and turned the lock on the door before leaving.  Thereby completing the job, returning the keys, and securing our condo.  
Not only was the entire job was completed to our great satisfaction at the agreed-upon rate, this was all accomplished without us ever being present.

The contractor arrived promptly despite him having very little notice of my problem.  He diagnosed and repaired my sink quickly and professionally, and explained fully what work needed to be done.  His manner was courteous and friendly. He left my wife and I feeling very satisfied.  I would not hesitate to use this company again.
