Customers say: Quality work

"Did great job woth drainage diverting from back and side of house. But misunderstood other area where we had problems with standing water. Asked for Jordan to come back to discuss other options but often do not get replies. Never got a bill for lawn mowing, sent a text and left voice mail asking if he received it. Also asked if his company will continue to do lawn maintenance. Still no reply. Had to find another company for lawn maintenance."

Lawn Care questions, answered by experts

The best times to mow your lawn are mid-morning or early evening. Mowing in the mid-morning, around 10 a.m., allows any dew to evaporate so the grass is dry. Cutting dry grass is easier on both the lawn and the mower, and this timing gives the grass blades time to recover in the sunlight before the peak afternoon heat. Alternatively, you can mow in the late afternoon or early evening once the heat of the day has passed. Avoid mowing too early in the morning when the grass is still wet with dew, and try not to mow during the hottest part of the day, as high temperatures and harsh sunlight can put extra stress on the grass.

Ticks prefer tall grass and seek out shady and moist areas. So, in some instances a no-mow lawn may increase tick population in your yard. This scenario is not ideal if you spend lots of time in your yard or if you have pets. If you spray pesticide then this can also harm the pollinators. However, you can make a DIY tick killer with more natural ingredients to avoid using toxic chemicals.

They handle labor-intensive tasks efficiently, equipping your lawn for seasonal changes without physically demanding work on your part.

Professionals bring industry knowledge, can spot potential problems early, and tailor maintenance like fertilizing and weeding to your lawn's specific needs.

Wait at least three weeks after overseeding ryegrass before breaking out the lawn mower. Mowing sooner will tear up much of the delicate, newly seeded ryegrass as it won't have established strong roots to anchor it yet.
