"I would like to thank Adrian Gomez for recommending me to have my duct/vents cleaned! Aire serv sent out Bryson and he did a fantastic job. He took his time and I haven’t seen my vents more clean. Im due to have a baby in a couple weeks and now know my air quality is so much better. I highly recommend this awesome team!!"

"Just wanted to acknowledge the techs, especially Matt, from Calvert Commercial HVAC, for diagnosing what the issue was with the salon HVAC unit and repairing same. The hole was caused by the wire laying on top of the copper tubing, and as you can see the wire's sheathing was missing. Hole repaired, wire repaired, salon now toasty again. It always pays to get a second opinion. Once again, thanks Matt and Rich, for a job well done."

"Mark and helper climbed their ladder outside to the Soffit under the roof overhanging. They cleaned the vent and ran a brush all the way down to the clothes dryer. Now my clothes are dry and the amount of dust has increased due to the opened pathway. Any dust that came outside was cleaned up. Great job. Thanks!"

"I had Montrell install some gas pipe for a dryer hook up. He is an absolute professional. Above and beyond what I expected. He was so good, I asked for him by name the next time I needed plumbing done. He connected my fridge water line."

"The technician, Steve, called me 25 minutes prior to his arrival. He was extremely knowledgeable about my gas fireplace. He vacuumed all areas. He informed me of the condition of the components. I was prepared to ask him a handful of questions that he was able to answer. My fireplace works very well and I strongly recommend using the Chimney Experts."

Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

An HVAC unit, like a furnace, air conditioner, or heat pump, produces warm or hot air. The air ducts serve as the passages to help heat or cool air from the HVAC unit flow through the home. Air ducts are just one part of the overall HVAC system.

If your AC runs constantly, it could be due to a number of things, including a faulty thermostat, incorrect temperature settings, or broken equipment. Alternatively, you might have an airflow problem (for example, blocked vents or leaky ductwork). Either way, an HVAC pro can identify the specific problem and fix it for you.

Yes, government incentives and programs are available to encourage energy-efficient upgrades in many regions. These incentives may include tax credits, rebates, grants, and low-interest loans for homeowners who invest in energy-efficient improvements such as HVAC system upgrades, insulation, and efficient windows. The availability and specific details of these incentives can vary by location, so check with your local government or utility company to explore your options.

It is normal for the attic to be hotter than the rest of the house in the summer, but only by about 10 or 20 degrees. Attics that aren’t properly insulated or ventilated can reach temperatures of 130 degrees or more which can cause damage to the home’s structure, including the roof, wood framing, and HVAC system.

While it's generally safe to stay in a home with a coolant leak if your home is properly ventilated, it's important to have a professional come out to assess the situation right away. You should evacuate your home if you notice any powerful fumes. Additionally, you should leave your home if you are experiencing headaches or dizziness.
