In addition, I wanted it expanding by approximately 35%. They came in, put the extra process down and laid it all flat while considering the pitch to make sure that no water pooled up anywhere on the driveway. I found 3 other top rated Angie's list businesses but Perez Paving was much less expensive."

"Update to my post on 8/13/18: Following our complaints posted on Angie’s list, Silverio quickly contacted me and offered to come by and take a look. After their walk-through, we both realized that the issues around the driveway is actually not the driveway itself but the excessive water from the lawn was not properly drained and some of the excessive water remained on the driveway and damaged the driveway. We followed their advice and installed the drainage but Joe and crew are so nice and offered to patch the damaged driveway even though the fault was on our side. We are very happy with their quick response and professionalism as well as the high integrity."

"Eddie was great to work with from start to finish. To be honest, he wasn't the highest quote, nor was he the lowest quote. We picked Eddie because of how thorough his explanations were. During our first consultation: Unlike many of the other companies that we meet with, Eddie took the time to listen to our concerns and explain the entire process. He stayed as long as was necessary to make sure we felt that our questions were all answered. We liked him right away because of his thoroughness as well as how personable he was. It didn't seem like he was in it to "nickel and dime" us, rather, he explained two scenarios that could have happened- a bar price, and then a more costly one if the base of our driveway wasn't up to par. Right before the job: Eddie called us to give us a couple of days notice prior to ripping up the driveway. He was punctual with both the day and time that he said he would come. He was able to take out the driveway on a Tuesday, and then came back to repave on the Monday after, so we ended up being unable to drive on it for a week and a half (need to wait three days after). We thought that timeframe was very reasonable. Even after Eddie got paid and finished the job, he still spent time explaining his work to my husband. He also discussed the care and maintenance. He took pride in his work and seemed to really stand by it. In the end, we were charged the base price. We are very happy with our choice of Eddie and Blue Diamond. After removing the old asphalt driveway and concrete walkway and stoops, pavers were installed on the driveway with a Belgian block apron as well as pavers on the walkway with a darker color border around both. Two concrete stoops and stairs were rebuilt, expanding one and topping both with blue stone on top and stone veneer on the sides.
