"I would highly recommend Adeidson. He did an excellent job and was very reasonable on his price. He beat all the other bids that I received. Adeidson was always on time, very fast, efficient and did an outstanding job. He has a sophisticated machine to refinish the floors and I did not notice any dust on the walls or anywhere else in the house, which was a big relieve. Adeidson is very knowledgeable and skilled, and made sure everything was done perfectly. The floors now look amazing and I would 100% hire him again."

"The job was done very quickly from initial visit until completion. The owner was able to visit my place within 2 days of first contact and schedule the work within 7-10 days. Very amicable and personable, with no hard sell. I would hire them again without question. The actual carpet install was completed in less than three hours and it looks great."

"Don Diel of International Floor coverings provided exceptional service to choosing and installing new luxury vinyl flooring. The floor looks fantastic and the installer was able to match the pattern and direction throughout the rooms of the install even into the closets. Don was responsive to communicating and concerns."

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

Dry rot or severe water damage may warrant a replacement, but you don’t always need to replace damaged subflooring. If your subfloor has warped because it was installed incorrectly, you can sometimes shim the panels (in other words, add a thin, wedge-shaped piece of wood to level the surface). If your subfloor bows upward, you may be able to sand it down at the joist so it’s level, depending on the extent of the damage.

Yes, you can technically make a crawl space liveable, but the only way to do so is by converting it into a basement. While some crawl spaces are big enough to walk through and store large items, they lack appropriate insulation and space to be liveable.

It depends on the kind you choose, but some types of carpet padding can last for decades. For instance, flat rubber—which is dense, durable, and higher-priced than other padding materials—has a life span of up to 20 years. On the other hand, prime foam—a lower-priced material that often comes free with a carpet installation—lasts less than five years on average.

You can mop bamboo floors, but exercise caution to protect the material from excess moisture, which can seep into the bamboo, causing it to warp and well. Moisten a microfiber mop and wring it out until it’s just damp, or use a pH-neutral cleaner, as this will prevent damage to the bamboo fibers. Avoid harsh chemicals, like traditional floor cleaners. After cleaning, wipe the floor dry.

One of the upsides of cork flooring is that it's mold-resistant, so you don't have to worry about mildew or mold growth on wet cork. However, you should always clean up any moisture as soon as possible and use as little water as you need when cleaning. This will help you avoid issues like buckling or swelling in your cork flooring, which often requires replacement, and prevent moisture from seeping into your subfloor, which can cause the dreaded mold or mildew problems.
