"It went well! I expected it to take a long time to get it picked up, but I called for the bag to be emptied on Friday and they were here Saturday! I am already filling it up again. (We have a MESS from the storm and need to finish the kitchen before this weekend's company coming in from out of town.) I have already called them to request my bag be emptied on Friday, and they have me on the schedule! I can't believe the customer service is so great! This is not a regular dumpster company. I have a dumpster delivered last summer and they gouged my driveway. What a nightmare it was to get them to pay for the driveway to be fixed. NEVER AGAIN! It's BullBag only for our future needs."

"Mark did a fantastic job of installing the new dishwasher. I'm in a 70-year-old building, with 35-year-old kitchen counters. Getting the dishwasher to fit into the space and run properly required a lot of imagination, and Mark figured it out. He's a professional and his work is excellent. While he was working on the dishwasher, he also upgraded some of the kitchen plumbing, so now we're in great shape. He's a real professional!"

"Went very well. This work required patience and ability to adapt and update very old lighting. Fixtures dated from early 1900's.. All work was done with safety in mind. I am very pleased with that work. I will definitely use them again.

"IMPORTANT: READ THIS FIRST
It's important for you to know that YOUR SEARCH HAS ENDED!  Aziz and his team went above and beyond with a full bathroom remodel.  Professionalism, punctuality, reasonable and most important quality all around.  Without boring you every detail he took a shell of a bathroom and turned it into something absolutely remarkable.
The work was so well done that since I've contracted Aziz for three additional jobs.  Including a basement bathroom, replacing all the pipes under the house and replacing exterior doors and frames.  Time and time again he's proven to be capable of tackling the tasks and having knowledge of the work needing to be done.
I suggest you contact him now for whatever your contracting needs.  Big or small, a whole kitchen remodel or just replacing the sink.  I look forward to continued work with Aziz and the entire team.  Hands down THE BEST!

"After doing extensive research on contractors, my husband and I finally decided on Zajac for our kitchen peninsula project and we were not disappointed! I cannot say enough good things about Ed and Ed. They both are extremely knowledgeable, honest, trustworthy, professional, and their attention to detail is remarkable. We were knocking down a wall and adding a peninsula with seating to an already existing kitchen. Ed and his team were incredibly efficient and the project was even finished ahead of schedule. The finished project was perfect and I could not be happier. Thank you so much Zajac – we look forward to working with you on future projects!"

Install Garbage Disposal questions, answered by experts

No, you do not need a garbage disposal to have a dishwasher. A dishwasher will work without one, and while it's rare to see a home with a dishwasher that doesn't have a disposal, it is possible. The two appliances pair well and are often installed together because a disposal simplifies meal cleanup.

However, your dishwasher should not be used as a replacement for a garbage disposal. Subjecting it to continuous food leftovers can lead to major clogs. If you choose not to install a garbage disposal, you should thoroughly rinse your plates or scrape excess food into the trash or a compost pile before loading them into the dishwasher to prevent plumbing issues.

Soil is just one of the items you shouldn't put down a garbage disposal. Garbage disposals are only meant for soft, non-fibrous foods. Large amounts of topsoil, dirt, or rocks will damage the blades of your garbage disposal or clog the pipes. If a small amount of dirt goes down the drain as you repot a plant, you shouldn't have to worry, but never dump a whole pot of soil in the sink for fast disposal.

There are many maintenance and repair issues that lead to a malfunctioning garbage disposal. Regular clogs place wear and tear on the motors, leading to an eventual shutdown. Electrical issues at the breaker, wall outlet, or disposal itself can fry the unit. The most common cause is simply a worn-down motor. These motors can only handle so much use before powering down for good.

These appliances certainly increase the number of things allowed down the drain, but they’re not foolproof. There are several items you shouldn’t put in your garbage disposal, according to manufacturers and technicians. Don’t put coffee grounds down the drain. The same goes for eggshells, potato peels, hard foods, onion skins, and any dry, expandable food. Most importantly, never put grease or oils down the drain.

It’s one thing that helps, alongside vinegar and baking soda. Ice acts as an exfoliant, helping to lift off any bits of food stuck on the disposal blades.
