Kevin and Dan (the work team) arrived at my home and made sure I understood every aspect of what they would be doing over the two day period. They treated my home as if it was theirs, carefully covering and taping all areas in the vicinity of the fireplace and, when entering my den from outside, used shoe covers to avoid tracking in any debris. I watched as they patiently and professionally worked on the chimney in oppressively hot weather conditions. They were totally focused on the work making sure each task was completed according to plan and always going the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied. Their cleanup was extremely thorough and before leaving Kevin provided pictures of the completed work and asked if I had any questions or concerns. He told me to contact them should any issues arise. It was a true pleasure working with these two professionals. Flue Tech is now my “go to” company for all chimney related work and I give them my highest recommendation."

"The technicians showed up the next day to give us a quote, and then (once we agreed to the quote) they were able to start work immediately (same day). They installed a chimney cap, sealed two other old chimney pipes (no longer in use), sealed the stone of the chimney itself and also installed a flexible crown seal. It was more than we thought to have done on the chimney, but the peace of mind is worth it. They finished in about 1.5 hours and did a great job. Would hire again."

Turns out that the linings in both chimneys were cracked and deteriorated badly, including the flue to the furnace. These were replaced and the fireplace interiors were sealed.
