"Marine Pool Renovations did an amazing job resurfacing and refreshing our in-ground pool and attached hot tub. From the preparation, to the application of plaster and opening up the pool (filling with water and ensuring the filtration system was working) for the upcoming season. The crew working on our pool were friendly and skilled. The job finished exactly as expected. Richard is a pleasure to work with and really listens and responds to all questions and keeps you up to date with progress and next steps. We highly recommend this great pro and will be sending any of our friends that need help with a pool over to Richard and Marine Pool Renovations!"

"Marc (and his coworker who's name I do not know) did an excellent job taking care of our pool this season. They were always prompt to help when needed and kept it in great condition. They also closed our pool. We will definitely use them in the future for our pool maintenance needs!"

"Amanda and Jeff were quite awesome and did a fantastic job winterizing my "hybrid" pool. Jeff is incredibly knowledgeable and did the job to completion. As a first time pool owner, Jeff and Amanda walked me through this process with ease. I will continue to work with Jeff and his team for the coming seasons with summarizing and winterizing my pool."

Pool Construction and Installation questions, answered by experts

Consultation with the local government helps identify necessary permits, avoid project delays or legal issues, and protect project integrity.

Surveys completed by licensed surveyors can be recorded with a local surveying records office, and in most cases, they will be. Filing survey reports categorize them as legal documents, and they can be used whenever legal documentation of your property’s boundaries is needed. While you’re not required to file survey documents, it’s a good idea to do so.

If you or your mortgage lender think your land survey needs to be more accurate, double-check the survey report and get at least a second opinion from the original surveyor and an inspector, if possible. Although it’s unlikely, even reputable surveying companies can make mistakes. An inaccurate survey can cause problems down the road in the case of any property line disputes, so it’s best to resolve any inaccuracies as quickly as possible.

If a buyer pays for a survey, the surveyor they hired will only provide results to them. It’s up to the buyer whether they share the survey results with the seller or not, even if they ultimately walk away from the deal. It’s considered good faith to share the results with the seller, though, especially if you back out of the deal, as the seller can then provide that survey to future interested parties.

The longest part of building a custom home is the design phase. It takes multiple professionals and a ton of work to bring your vision for your dream home to life while sticking to a homebuilding budget and also ensuring everything is built to code. Expect the design phase for a custom home build to take six months to a year.
