Nixon is on site, very experienced, and I appreciated his guidance in choosing new materials. He gave choices, explanations & prices on the new trim so I could stay on budget. "John is the single best communicator of any contractor we have worked within the last 30 years, including multiple additions and major renovation projects. That great communication would be reason enough to recommend him, but John goes above and beyond to make sure everything he said he would do get done as and when he said it would be done. For that, we are very grateful. Specifically for our Guilford, CT finished basement renovation project, John started demolition on a Saturday because we were on a short time frame to get the work done in time to list the house for sale in early September. He said it would take 2 - 3 weeks and it took 2 weeks and 2 days. he said he would keep us updated and he called and/or texted every day as to what was going on. And the finished work was exactly as was promised in terms of fit, finish, and quality. J and Ps price was fair for the scope of work, the time constraints for getting it done, and the quality of the finished project. We would certainly hire J and P again and highly recommend them to you!"
