They could not have been more accommodating to that adjustment, and made the change with no questions asked or negative attitude, even though it significantly lowered the price of the project and eliminated a whole day of scheduled work on 2-days' notice. This soft wall grow moldy and become riddled with pests/bugs. The contractor identified the potential issues, agreed to explore and open the walls and discuss the conditions, made sound recommendations for repair and did exactly what was noted in the repair (replaced a load bearing exterior wall, fixed the sill plate, completed the roof, shingles etc. and closed up the walls on the inside with insulation and sheet rock.).
