"We live in Gainesville, FL and are on Gainesville Regional Utilities. We were working on getting solar panels around the time GRU was lowering the limited coverage. Our paperwork was done and submitted to EnLight Energy before the April 2024 deadline. Fast forward. We start getting our electric bills, they were lower, so we didn't think to much about it. After a few months with the same price, much more than we estimated, we questioned it. We got ahold of GRU we discovered EnLight Energey FAILED to submit by the deadline even though they PROMISED us it was submitted in time. We contacted EnLight about this and of course they blame GRU and said no, they're lying, we submitted it on time. We're now halfway through December 2025, over a year later and they still haven't done ANYTHING. They are trying to avoid fixing their mistake that is going to cost us quite a bit over the years because THEY missed the deadline. We've given them a lot of time and a lot of chances, would NOT recommend."

"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. "I had a very positive experience working with Green Power Energy from initial quote through Permission to Operate. The sales and quoting process was straightforward and low-friction, and everything was handled digitally. There was no in-home sales pressure, which I appreciated. Despite very high demand in the residential solar market, communication was consistently solid and responses were generally faster than expected. Everyone I interacted with was knowledgeable and professional, from sales to installers to post-install follow-up. The installation quality itself was excellent. The conduit runs were exceptionally clean and thoughtfully done, to the point that it made me notice how sloppy other installations can look by comparison. Cleanup was also outstanding. Based on prior experiences with roofing and exterior work, I expected a significant mess. That was not the case here. Green Power Energy did a particularly good job managing expectations around timelines that were outside their control, such as permits and utility approvals. They intentionally overestimated these timelines, which turned out to be a smart and customer-friendly approach. The project ultimately hit the PTO timeline we expected, with no major surprises. Most importantly, they consistently did what they said they would do. No installation is completely perfect, but any minor issues were small and situational, and none affected the final outcome or system performance. Overall, I am very satisfied with the experience and the final result. The system is live, producing as expected, and the installation quality is excellent. I have already recommended Green Power Energy to friends and neighbors and would not hesitate to do so again."
